I agree, testie was a huge joke in the dota scene and moved on to play versus lower skilled players in Hon and experienced some success when the only teams were His own and the other team with the DXD rejects. now he thinks he was any decent in dota and thats just a load of Bullshit.
it's funny that most of the people that say HoN is the better game than Dota is the individuals that had little to no success or skill in dota. Case in point-Testie and the hundreds of other dxder/tda players that switched games because there just was too much competition in Dota. I mean i wouldnt really blame them. They had no chance in contesting international teams and decided to just call it quits and move to the easier game.

I would easily take on top teams. There is no doubt. They banned meepo against me Ack, I did not ban meepo against them. I did not even have actual competitive players as my sidekicks in those games.

As much as HoN is based on DotA, the two have diverged so much (mechanics, item tweaks, hero tweaks, hero pool, new items etc.) that it's hard to keep comparing them like they're brothers.
I've played DotA a lot more than HoN (like.. 300x), so I am probably biased and uninformed, but here are my impressions about competitiveness of the two:
It's easier to get quality games (as in, games that help improve) in HoN unless you are at the very top of the competition. In DotA, the latency issue + people being all over the place without a centralized system made it difficult to get good games.
That said, it's easier to find 'good' (loose term, I don't yet have a great eye for this game) players in HoN (DotA has higher retard ratio I think, just because of the nature of it) but DotA has some unbelievably good players. Having played most of the top asian teams except EHOME, it's hard to imagine HoN having players, at least teams, of the same calibre considering the significantly smaller player base and how much younger the game is. But like I said, I feel that HoN and DotA are different enough that people who transfer over from DotA have to learn a lot more than they would think to fully adjust to the game.
The question of which game requires more skill is pointless really. First of all, you'd have to be at the very top of the competition for both games to be in a position of authority to judge. Secondly, the two have different communities so even if HoN has a worse player-base, it would'nt prove anything about the skill ceiling. But as for competitiveness, I have no doubt in my mind that to reach the very top in DotA is much harder than in HoN.
Why you would start arguing about who would rape who if they switched over to each other's game is beyond me though. That would only matter if the skill transfer between the two games were near 100% compatible, which it's not. You have to re-learn a lot of things. It's like a 100m and 400m sprinter claiming they'd rape the other at their own race.
I don't know much about the NA/euro scene or whom Testie played with/against but even if Testie was a 'huge joke' in DotA, to my knowledge, he is regarded as a superior player to most of the big names from DotA who transferred over to HoN. And if you argue that that's because those people haven't had the time to settle in comfortably, it just goes on to prove my point that the two games are more different than most people assume.
I'm not taking sides here even though I'm close to Testie since I don't know where the fuck all this started + I enjoy internet drama too but I thought it'd be worth thinking about before you guys start calling each other trash
