hey did that patch come out w/ the new map (goldrush i think?) + new medic additions? looks promising

i also heard valve released a patch where you are now able to disable crits (YES!!)

the game was so newbified I had stopped playing, but now it looks like Valve is on top of shit

But i hope they will release the new mode and the new achievements soon; I want to see the new medic achievements + his new guns in action!

Gold rush is alright, but it's too demo friendly imo.
It creates an easy target for stickies and basically free kills.
Btw did you guys create a TF2 team?

They really need to make it so that Goldrush goes Stage 2 - Stage 1 - Stage 3. Stage 2 is the funnest. ;o

It kind of sucks to play TF2 lately because of the new achievement packs only rolling out for a single class at a time. It's like Valve is begging the community to stack up on a single class. It wasn't too bad with medics (not that bad having extra medics around right?), but now with pyros it's just dumb. Close-quarters are instant-death (especially for me who usually plays scout) because usually each team has about 4-6 pyros. I just think it'd be smarted to at least do 2 at a time instead of 1 (or heaven-forbid doing them all at once).

I really like this game and played it more than any other last year, and I think these achievement packs are a great idea, just not the best implementation of it by Valve.

Also yes, all the new maps are awesome.
