Speaking of Guile, I've been playing him nonstop since he came out and I'm at my highest LP I ever been (2300) but I don't know if he's for me long term, he seems pretty hard to do the high level stuff with I wonder if I'm gonna switch again.. So far I've been playing mostly Dhalsim, Karin, Guile. Anyone got some good resources for Ken, I keep seeing him in tournaments and he looks super fun so I want to try it out but need some tech like meatys, frametraps etc.

@littlechava Thanks, that's some good stuff esp the punish & youtube playlist. I've actually gotten pretty decent with him now 3250 LP and he's super fun. I don't see myself changing unless Ibuki/Juri is what I hope they can be.

Hmm, why did they change Ibuki's look so much? I watched the trailer and I wondered why she looks so masculine now. Couldn't spot it at first, but now I got it: HER HAIRLINE. What the hell happened there, Capcom? She used to be cute...

They probably don't want to make take any chances on a weird vskill becoming unbalanced or being equal to that of a good special move. I admit most of them are sort of lame though.

It's unlikely we're even getting a May update, they seem to be pushing for Ibuki to be in the June one. Capcom with the broken promises already, what a joke..

WSO will be showcasing Ibuki vs Ibuki tonight (4 hours from this post) for a few hours like they did Guile, it was said in the same range of tweets that Ibuki will be out after a 4 day delay which is this week. Given that Capcom JP has said the story mode(part of June patch) will be released alongside Ibuki we'll have that too this week which is early considering we probably expected June 30th.
So it all works out in the end, 4 days delay is fine and getting story early.

She looks great. I assume the bomb is her V-skill? Seems she can tell it how quickly to detonate too, pretty cool.
As for her delay, Capcoms PR really is abysmal. There's so much shit wrong with this game in regards to being a finished product, but the terrible lack of communication is what annoys me the most. Might be a Japanese thing I guess...
Hopefully the 4 day thing is true.

That was a promise made before release, and Capcom has essentially admitted to investors that Street Fighter 5 was released WAY too early for the general audience. Don't hold them to "one a month" unless you want to see horribly broken (whether broken too-good or broken too-bad) and buggy characters that need to be patched next month rolling over into the time needed to develop the next character.
Be reasonable: Content takes time to develop and code. Characters take even more time because they need to be balanced against the rest of the cast. One hiccup and suddenly they're off schedule.
Of course, I say all this knowing my probable-future-main Urien won't be around for at least another 3 or 4 months. Ah well, back to silently laddering as Claw and getting to know tiny mechanics that I hadn't noticed day 1 (EX FBA Slash brings you down to the ground EXTREMELY quickly compared to normal FBA Slash, etc).

Well Capcom now has clarified and said Ibuki will be out with the story mode at the END of June. Saying they wanted to "clear up confusion" is funny, considering the only thing they've ever said for us to go on was that a character would be released in May. Where could the confusion have come from!?!?! Oh well.

Story mode + Ibuki won't be out until end of June.
Watched floe / mike ross / combofiend play around with her a bit on the pro talk show, she seems really fun but it's always hard to tell until you get to try it. I think anyone in this game with stubby normals is going to have a super bad time, and hers are very short range.
Kunai hitstun is still real though!!!!
Also her vskill is basically Karin's, which is sort of lame.
