However I think its kinda silly they didnt really expand the worldbuilding of this world. I can forgive OG since it was intended to be a one-shot story. However, it's a franchise and they had like 20 years to brainstorm. Anyway, its just kinda weird how the there's no anthropology in this world. Like its crazy how Midgar started construction just 50 years before the game started and there's no history before that. Like....was the Midgar-Wutai war literally the documented documented war in this world? | ||

Opening the FF7 case and seeing three fucking discs in there was such an amazing moment as a kid. The two discs thing has me irrationally excited | ||

Aerith cause remember in the ending of first game when fighting him and Aerith dies in your party he will sometimes say "ah the memories". So possibly it is a fake out by Square... hopefully. Or Sephiroth trying to create a rift between Cloud and Tifa. edit: apparently not. In the Japanese trailer he specifically mentions Tifa. Oh god no. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + Honestly think Biggs is alive in Zack's timeline and joins him to avenge Avalanche who dies in said timeline. They will also find Jesse at the Gold Saucer, maybe? Timeline combine and, hopefully, in time to save Aerith and even Tifa in the worse case scenario setting up one of the most badass fights video games ever created. | ||

-FF7R2 ends with a new protag set up for part 3. Take your guesses what happens. What...? + Show Spoiler + This makes no sense, unless the TWO actually meet. With the one in the Crater not aware of what is going on. -FF7R looks and runs like a PS5 game on Switch 2 devkit. Port took no time I'm told. Best case scenario imo would be + Show Spoiler + that a lighter, more primitive FF7R can run on the next-gen Switch without terrible frame rate drops, but I can't imagine it'll be identical to the PS5 experience. | ||

There should have been way more exposition dropped entering the Singularity. It felt like they expended so much resources dealing with the whispers, but the story of the whispers aren't very interesting at face value. I wish we did the whispers waaaay early on and let them tell a new story instead of dealing with that baggage. Still have to play integrade. I love Yuffie so hopefully I'll have a way better time. | ||
