I met Mango and Hax a couple weeks ago when they came to Houston
Mango was so fucking chill it was ridiculous, just drinking Miller Lite after each game
We played some teams and 1v1s and he raped me ofc, but then I started talking to some friends about how I was unemployed and bored and he started talking to me about that. He said he wished he had more stuff to do, and we joked about how flying around and playing Smash is living the dream, so I joked that he could tell me about it since that's what he did and we had a good laugh about it.
At the end of the day when everyone was leaving the venue (it was the day before a big tournament WHOBO) I told a couple of my friends bye, and wished them luck the next day. Mango came up to me and gave me a fistbump and said "hey man I'll see you around"
Not to mention Hax. He sat around and played friendlies with everyone, and when I got in a couple games I was kind of fangirling over how easily and well he was doing multi-drill shines against everyone. He asked me if I knew how to do it, I said no, and he sat there and taught me a couple of super advanced techniques. No ego at all, just extremely friendly and wanting to see people have a good time
tl;dr Mango is a fucking baller, so chill, and I am a huge fan. Never in my life seen someone play Smash so casually and be so incredibly beast. Hax is probably the coolest, nicest person in the entire scene. Took time to teach me more about how to do mechanics so that I can do cool shit and enjoy the game more

Actually, if Mango takes at least 3 stocks from PPMD, which is probably the expected outcome, then all of the giants are effectively dead on EC, while WC still has Zhu, PewPewU, Fly, and S2J, which is a set of pretty strong players Hbox? Mango is Hbox's hard counter.
Yeah, but HBox is definitely the lowest of the gods and doesn't really win super convincingly, which is the way players rack on stock kills in a team format. Although WC did burn all their foxes early......hmm...yeah I wonder who they're leaving to take on HBox.

guess they're saving fly for hbox, last time they played hbox won with only 1 stock ea. time so maybe that's why. I dunno if I like that, I think fly with icies vs sheik could've straight out won

hax is really good but i wasnt expecting him to do that well anyway, west coast is really well versed versus foxes. mango looked super solid against ppmd even though he gave up an unneeded stock. at this point there might no be enough star power on EC anymore
