Played a few sPvP games, some were ok, some had slight lag, 1 had so bad lag that my pet was teleporting around even at the spawn and there were typical lag periods of "I'm shooting, why is nothing happening?" followed by "oh my god, everything is now happening at once and i'm already dead!". PvP is fun though but i'm not convinced of it being competitively viable, except for two maps (The one with clocktower and the one with a castle in the middle, "Siege of something", i think) the maps seem bad for serious play. Underwater combat might be fun in PvE but it doesn't feel good in PvP. Played a mobility ranger with lots of cripple, snare, etc. and just picked opponents off from a distance with my shortbow without them ever being able to get close without a numbers advantage. For melee, my sword mainhand, axe offhand set proved quite useful. Then i just ran around, captured points and killed opponents 1v1 when they tried to recapture a point. | ||

I sent an invite to everyone in the temp guild that wasn't in the main guild. Also people who were still only invited in the temp guild were removed from invitation and invited in the main one. Please accept the invitations and enjoy the game  (BTW- in Lions arch, next to the guild control guy, there is another guy that sells some booze, and when you buy one for like 2 silver and use it you make 10 influence points? Also there are more expensive beverages. I didn't really investigate, but this is how I understand it works. Basically you can buy influence for in-game money.) | ||

Also, whats the normal fps in this game? A friend was complaining about a similar issue with GPU problems the other day. UPDATE YOUR GPU DRIVERS. Nvidia recently released another drive (the other day literally) to help increase performance in GW2 specifically. He and I have the same GPU too. I have an older driver and have no issues though but he has new Driver and no issues. | ||

(: Certainly yes, there are some of us that are always on TS when they have the game started, and it is my humble wish to have more people that do the same. Last days there were constantly 3-5 people in the TS, I hope some more might come. | ||

Also, whats the normal fps in this game? I got exact same specs 60-70 FPS with literally everything maxed and 1920x1080 with the drivers recommended by anet. Feels like the game is draining my PC though as it's making more noise than usual, might look into dropping some graphics settings. No screentearing though, and I had lower FPS on beta before I updated drivers. | ||
