I don't know why but ever since that new update my CS has been randomly freezing for several seconds at a time. It's really gay especially when I'm about to encounter an enemy. siiigh Volvo.

I have the same problem except said freeze crashes my computer. Strangely it only happens on certain maps (Cache, Train) so I just play dust/inferno/mirage and it doesn't really matter.

Just played a lot of games this week and I noticed something:
I often dont hear the Defuse sound. I just lost a round on Inferno where I planted the bomb, it was a 1on1. The guy just defused and my team asked me if im deaf °_°
The WHOLE team could ehar it but I couldnt, happened to me A LOT. How do I make the Defuse sound more noticeable?

No, they did not. I don't know what exactly you are referring to, but they did quite well in their games during last month. Unless you are talking about literally the last week, but it should not be used as an indication of anything because they were focused on preparing for Starladder 9 finals and didn't care about other online matches.
Also, Na'Vi do not practice nuke and cache, so they will always play poorly on those maps.

As someone who knows russian language and watched ru stream of this event, I can assure that those accusations are false. Commentators purposefully did not voice information that could help Na'Vi. Generally speaking, people posting at HLTV are one of the worst communities I have ever seen. Most of them are so immature, ignorant and full of spite that it makes places like reddit look all serious and considerate. Also, it frequently looks like weapon skins and betting are the only things they care about.

eh, turn up the sound or turn down/off the music? You should be able to hear it just fine

Is there a stopsound command like in 1.6? I used to have it bound but it doesn't work anymore with my old cfg. This fucking music at the beginning and last 10s of a round is sooo annoying !!

there is but it's classified as a cheat. Set the music volume to 0 in settings to disable the music crap.

I'm not 100% sure on this but apparently, if you play with the bass at a minimum level, you should be able to hear everything more clearly. Didn't try but one of my RL friends told me this. He says it makes a HUGE difference.

It could even be the sound settings, but I don't have much to base this on. I've never had this problem so I either have the right settings or something else isn't there to mess with my sound.

Hmm oh right with the flashbang changes it could be considered that, yeah... At first it was to stop the crackling sounds of storm and the rain on de_aztec xD got used to it. Will disable music, thanks. I'll look into the menu music, too, it's like thrice as loud as the rest, blowing my ears every time...

probably 1 win away from finally getting out of Legendary Eagle Master. Curious if I'll be able to hit GE. If I was better and long range rifles (non awp) I know I'd get it easily. Aim is fine but just can't see well.
Just long range ak/m4 and spray consistency are the only things I can improve, some days I'm on with the spray, some not. Can always just watch friberg and cry myself to sleep.
