You have to consider how much more damage hatred will actually get you and how much survival you're actually sacrificing. The thing about curse is, I won't cast it if it's not on auto cast. It doesn't make that much of a difference anyway, my crits chance is above 85% and I still have crit nodes to take. Any enemy worth cursing will be. That is not something I'm willing to change. The trade off Hatred/Mana doesn't seem very interesting right now, I'm killing stuff plenty fast, but I feel kinda frail still. And hatred is 42% reserved (can't afford reduced mana nodes), seems like a lot, I'm already running clarity on mana. I don't get oom that much indeed, but it does happen, and as it is in difficult fights, I'd rather not make that issue more apparent. | ||

A couple of friends that I play LLD with, also they've both won demis before in races, MrEnzyme and Oats_PT; we also invited two others that I didnt know that well that also play LLD with us, one of them was new to racing and died to hillock lol. D: | ||

Had good rng in getting a two-hander from hillock but my mud flats and uppers were messed up and I had 0 blue packs so I ended up being on #21. Both races after that were not worth mentioning. Got lost in at least 1/2 of the zones, have never seen so many corrupted zones, lol. | ||

The leach and the life and the block just seem way too good compared to pretty much everything I'm likely to lay my hands on. Maybe a Rise of the Phoenix if I ever happen to do Atziri but that's probably way out of my price range. Also, what makes a good phys crit dagger and how much will they cost? Do I look for crit chance, crit multi, flat phys, life leach, or what? Currently I'm using a Mightflay (just got into merciless) but I'm very conscious of the fact that I'm going to have to upgrade soon, certainly before I start mapping. A golden or platinum kris is probably best, just because of the high base crit and high implicit global crit. Or do I go for a Bino's? Of course, Bino's is 10ex or more, so I'm probably not going to be affording that any time soon. And Rat's Nest is north of 1ex. This crit build is looking expensive... I'm going to have to start selling things instead of putting them in the guild stash. | ||

On a side note: I justed ripped my 83 Searing Bonder on a Promenade Map. I met one of the two new Invaders: The Storm Call/Corpse Explosion Guy. Thought I would try to kill him and if he does too much dmg I would leave him behind. Turned out that his storm call insta gimped me within one second at 4,5k HP, 77 lightning res, no curse, 1 shock stack. I completly emptied 2 full bubbling flasks in that time as well. I honestly thought I would die to some phys spike or chaos dmg since both my armor and my chaos res were pretty bad. Dunno, that guy seems a bit over-tuned.^^ | ||
