I suppose but it could for example be the 1-2 tier where you could bless it, and even if not you could potentially have 2 pieces of jewellery with it, etc.
Personally I think the very fact that it can exist is pretty cool. I mean one of the bereks rings gave you leech from all damage on frozen/shocked targets or something but then u had to wear a terribad unique whereas this allows you to roll a godly rare item with ele leech.
I must say, the teasers so far have been very good teasers lol.

I bet GGG would add pants before being able to use two amulets
|
I said "2 pieces of jewellery". I'd be very surprised if ammy's are the only implicit you can change.
Also I told my friend to mirror his busted ammy in a descent champions the other day LOL brainfart.
|
What would be really interesting is if the corrupted switches an affix with the implicit. Elemental life leech is a new affix and that amulet had it's leech and all stats swapped.
Elemental leech should probably be a prefix like current life/mana leech though so

While the EA is great at farming large amounts of mobs, it's quite shit singletarget and bosses take me forever. What do you guys think is the best way to get some nice single damage? I've been experimenting with an elemental bow and burning arrow on switch, but it doesn't seem to be very good. that being said, my gear is shit so it might pass as I farm more.
Any other way?
ps: don't have time to post tree right now, but it's acrobatics, ondar's and then life, proj dmg and fire dmg. I'm softcore. should I just use fireball + 3 links instead? I am much too poor for 5l this far.
I'm also only level 53, going slowly through merc, farming a lot. I think the standard operating procedure for single target until you get a 5L/6L is to have one explosive arrow specced for multiple targets and another designed for single target with conc effect, fire pen, and ignite chance/burning damage.....
I can second that notion. Concentrated Effect is a massive damage increase for EA and its drawbacks obviously do not apply for single target. For curses if you dont have quality EA then use flammability for the added chance to ignite. If you do have quality EA you can use elemental weakness with quality. This will do more damage. In any case you should level an elemental weakness in your offhand slot to get it to 20% quality eventually.
Elemental Equilibrium is another insane damage boost for this build (you need some cold/lightning damage on gear -- a gem will also do in your split arrow set up) to debuff mobs. Equally important: You must not have any fire damage on gear. You should also look at the tooltip dps (chain will decrease your damage, together with resistances of mobs this might be decreased further). But since you mentioned using Ondar's I don't know whether its feasible for you to travel there.

I have a level 90 EA. I use Explosive Arrow, chance to ignite, proliferation, empower, fire penetration, and increased aoe/conc. If you dont have a level 3 Empower you should use Increased Burning Damage. I use Flammmability and EE. If you have any more specific questions about EA feel free to ask. It was the char I played in Anarchy for 4 months so I pretty much tried just about everything.
Is anyone going to be playing in the FBLAMT party race? I will, but im not sure how far we should plan on progressing, if we look at how much stuff a 6 man party can usually take on at once it seems like you start to run into issues when there are more mobs aggro'd than there are players. so Im worried even a full 6 man party could struggle to take on more than 2 mobs at a time. because its BLAMT we wont be able to skip the fractures either so we will basically be going at 5x slower speed than usual, so I guess we are aiming for like level 5-6? lol. I think farming Tidal Island might be the best strategy so that we dont have to fight vs rhoas, also if memory serves me right there arent that many ranged mobs. (I think ranged mobs will be insanely gg because they will fracture and attack simaltainiously so 4x5 = 20 projectiles simaltainiously on death? seems like a good way to RIP.) I would be very surprised if any parties made it to the ledge. What do you guys think?
|
I'd be all over that race if I was home. The BLAMT Endless Ledge last night was absolutely hilarious. 45+ mins in, Level 5 people were getting death announcements LOL.
|
I can't decide if I am more scared of fracturing cold snap or fracturing rhoas...
In theory you can at least kill the rhoas before they hit you? Lethal cold snap is perma freeze as far as I can guess.
These don't cast cold snap anymore ^_^

I expect you guys know this, but the first mob you kill that drops a skill gem, his fractures also drop a skill gem. So if one party member goes scion then he can mule about 4 other people a free spectral throw gem at very little cost.

Also, really? I didn't know this.

Yeah spectral throw's low mana cost is part of why it's so good in blamt.
That and it being OP overall

so i just did some double checking on some sutff. Tidal island seems kinda meh, its only level 3 and there are those water elementals. Depending on how rediculously insane the race is, we might have to do flats, flooded depths seems like a really solid zone, its level 6, its just squids and crabs and its linear until the boss area. (which is really easy to indentify, i just ran 10 instances in normal really fast to familiarize myself with it.) i think that is probably our best bet. i actually think that ledge is deceptively dangerous in this gamemode, anyone that has played fractured can tell you how much damage that fractured archers can just do out of no where, and in BLAMT that could mean half the party rips.
|
Well, the crabs double fracture so thats kinda an issue in depths, but I don't know how the XP works for that.
|
Why are you scared of water elementals?
anyone that has played fractured can tell you how much damage that fractured archers can just do out of no where
Pretty much every zone has ranged units so you can't really avoid this anywhere you choose to farm. You can choose to farm a zone with smaller ranged archers, but you're still going to run into the same problem.
|
Fractured mobs give no xp, which is why I will be surprised if we hit level 5-6.
.. Maybe we should just reset and kill zombies are the start of terraces. LOL safe strats to get to level 3-4 ish?

Says the person who advocates going for demis.

Every point of XP u get without dying in FBLAMT must be considered a significant success lol. Getting to town is gonna be an achievement rofl.
