EPTDo I flip the aegis aurora I just picked up for 7 ex and divined from 10 ->18 WED, or hang onto it and hope it becomes a sought after legacy item? I'm thinking 4 ex profit isn't so much that it's worth giving up the possibility of a much larger payout later on. Either way I can hang onto it and not lose money for quite awhile, assuming the price drops slowly as the "invincible aegis aurora IB build" hype dies down.

Guy in my party got a koams heart too, and a 6link in 1 fuse, but our MFer died to a powerful crits rock golem, so no good drops really. | ||

Since there was only a few nearby the item it was kind of obvious who it was since the third guy was his friend or something. So we do piety and stuff, later on just before we enter upper scepter of god the ninja gets kicked and he started spamming lots of shit talk to everyone. We kill dominus with 0 deaths, while we see his name in lights dying around top40 2 hours later. Karma is a bitch. | ||

I don't really have the energy or time to flip to get rich anymore, but riding this trend is too easy to pass up, lol. I never played Eve, but I was probably top 100 richest players in both Runescape and MapleSea at one point or another. Right now I'm selling my Ming's and my extra BoR, should be able to get 3-5 Aegis for that. :3 | ||

Seem like I want items with a lot of +life and +resist as a groundslam marauder (I am following alkaizer's build+gem choices)? Upon checking out the endgame gear people has got I noticed a lack of MF, is magic find not as important in PoE endgame compared to D2/D3? How important is chaos resist? Everyone seem to be really fanatic about countering chaos damage. if my understanding is correct the current league is ending, and the characters would be merged with the standard server. Should I spent what currency I have to buy stuff on dominas or should I wait until after the merger happen? Prices on standard seem pretty crazy. I spent a few hours browsing through the trade forum and poe.xyz and I am at a loss as to how much items are worth... I see people asking for 1ex for stuff which look terrible while offering ridiculously low amounts (ie: the Marohi Erqi mace for 4ex while prices go from 12-30ex...) | ||

Firstly you don't really want to think about MF as a GS marauder in a2 merc yet. Secondly yes, stack life and res is top priority atm. Especially when you about to walk into a3 merc where everything hit like a truck. Chaos res is nice but focus to get cap on elemental res first before worrying about it. Aim for at least 2.5k hp for a2 merc ( which is still quite low, need 3-3.5k as melee to feel safe there ). For price of item, just have to slowly get to know the economy I guess. For mid-tier rare, the different between standard and domination is negligible, don't worry about it too much. For Marohi in dom, a no-link goes from 4-7ex depend on roll, 5L goes from 8-12ex. Don't think about any 6L yet if at this stage, when your budget is still very tight. IMO just get a good rare ~400-425 pdps mace. There are a several of them floating for a lot less than 1ex. They look cheap but the reduced xp makes leveling harder and the reduced MF just makes it even tougher for me to get self-found upgrades (which are half of what I am using right now - the other half being stuff taken generously from the guild stash). I took swapped mu chest and rings to get 75%/67%/39% resists. Health is sitting @ 3167HP with 3065 armor. I am going to see if I can clear act 2 now that I gained a few levels... Maybe I should just bite the dust and put some points into the resist nodes and use my regret points later once I am properly geared. How should I proceed if I get "stuck" again (lv62 atm)? Farm fellshrine ruins for gear? or is there a boss somewhere that I can easily farm some gear off of? People only really talk about piety and dom farming but those are out of my league. Alternatively should I just spend more time on poe.xyz and the trade forums and gear up that way? Honestly I do not even know how much buying power I have got and is afraid to make terrible purchases... I really like the currency system in PoE, but at the same time it can be quite difficult to get into =/ | ||

No I'm not. There are many cheap rare 2h maces if u can look. The one with b/o 2c earlier has been sniped, but there are several 400+ pdps for 10-20c, which is still very affordable. Try searching for Dread Shatter Colossus Mallet, or Vortex Bane Colossus Mallet on poe.xyz to name a few. Both are 420+ pdps. For lvling, you just have to progress to a3 merc I guess, since 62 is quite high for a2 content already. | ||

@Hikari: you *must* cap your resists. This means putting them to 75%. anything over that doesn't help, but having non-capped resists is an easy way to die fast. having a resist or 2 at 65-70% is OK but really the biggest difference you can make is just capping those resists. After that, focus on life. Life on every piece of gear (including amulet, rings, belt) is not quite absolutely necessary but it sure makes a big difference. You also want to be picking up a LOT of life nodes on the tree wherever you can. Think of life nodes as the best nodes on the tree and plan your build accordingly. This isn't always true but its a great rule of thumb for beginners. Don't worry about magic find at this stage. It doesn't help you get currency (just bad rares hehe) and you can focus more on it once you have your survivability etc figured out. Anyway, You have probably picked up a couple of orbs along your current journey. The most common one used in trading is the "Chaos" orb. Other popular ones are Fusings (generally about 5 Fuse = 2 Chaos), Exalted orbs (very valuable/rare), etc. When shopping for an item, you can likely only afford things in the 2-5 Chaos range. Go to poe.xyz.is and then select the following things: League: Domination Type: 2 Hand Mace pDPS: min 350 max 400 Rarity: Rare (this is to avoid voidhome yeah) Buyout Only: On Don't touch any other parameters. Then find one thats somewhere from 3-5 chaos, and buy it (you have to find the guy in game when he's on and msg him). That should fix your clear speed. You can do the same thing for other gear but it can be more complicated messing with item mods  Good luck! | ||

For the orbs which I think matter, I have - 60 chromatic - 15 fusing - 12 chance - 6 scourging - 15 alchemy - 4 chaos Since the earlier orbs cannot be fused into chaos/exalts I fear I might just have worthless pocket change and my only real wealth lie in the 4 chaos I have.... I also need to replace my belt, but I am atm reliant on it for the mana leech properties. Maybe I should just ditch it and go back to chunking mana pots? if someone come across with any insane deals which you think would be good for me please give me a poke in game, I am online a lot. Missing that 2 chaos orb weapon earlier makes me sad. | ||
