Leveled two characters to 75 in anarchy and found 3 exalts so far, been really lucky though with drops.

Though I've only really leveled a 51 and then a 68 in onslaught. /edit and haven't found or even seen one drop for someone else

Did my first descent race today! Was a lot of fun, I died to the witch boss at level 7 because I was being reckless and a pack of blue goats leaped on me. I had a very vague outline of what I wanted to do, at least for the first few levels, taken from what I could get from some VOD's from good runners. Figures I go through my char without finding anything decent (no bows/iron rings), and then make a new character for practice and get a 17 quality rain of arrows at zone 2. T_T Overall was a lot of fun though, and will definitely continue doing the races, I just have to iron out my route and such as right now I'm not really sure what level I need to be for each zone, and of course my mechanics need work.

What a terrible run.. grats Slix. Had a good start, but it didn't keep up. Cleared almost the whole Hall of Heroes and wasn't even 20 yet :-/

I have found 5 exalts in the entire time I have played Poe.. 4 in hardcore and 1 in onslaught.. and i have a 71 68 75 and 78 in onslaught heh. Almost made 18 as shadow in descent today, haven't played one in a while. Got a +1 cold at level 6, and insane defensive gear, but kill speed on FP even with +1 is slow without finding %spell dmg offhand of some sort. Alched 3 shields, no spelldmg or crit.

And I go full on offensive on nodes, still hard to kill

Was close though. My problem was that I didnt get a bow in the last 5 levels so I had 95 dps in merciless XD

13th again though, you see a pattern there? 13th overall in the last 3 descent races

I don't think I've ever had below 100dps after crafting a 20% composite bow and using Hatred... You have at least two leftover alchs to craft gloves/amulet/rings at that point too. I was at ~135 in Hall of Heroe this race. I found Added Fire Damage for the additional ~10 dps. Plenty of mana anyway at that point. I also found superior LA/LMP so I gave that a shot, and it's pretty bad indoors. It would have been good in Shrine, but I wasn't 21.

Now that I take a closer look, it looks like my beginning was my worst so far. Probably played a bit too safe after dying so many times.

Suprising to me that you can do so well with 90 dps.. my freeze pulse was at 91dps in the last race and it felt like I was barely doing damage to most mobs. Guess its elemental though, if you were RoA with high phys..

90 elemental dps should be better than 90 physical dps against everything except cold resist mobs... Every mob has armor/evasion to lower physical attacks. But Freeze Pulse does 100% damage only point blank before you get faster projectile, right?

Assuming your lucky enough to find a blue green linked +1 cold wand. even with the chroms jewelers I couldn't pull that off in this race. The main difference is probably mana costs, and the area FP hits compared to RoA.

Omg started a map and didn't realize realm restart was coming in 4 minutes. Fucking blazed through it asap with 30 seconds when I got to boss, got nubuck boots unique and 2 maps with 10 seconds left ^^. T.T I know I must have left a decent amount of mobs though.

#24, learned a valuable lesson to not farm fellshrine without quicksilver potion, got lucky and found some 15% ms boots on fourth reset, but the first ones were pretty rough.

I should probably just go sins like the others seem to do.

Just died 19 minutes in. :/ Was 11th Duelist and 39th overall, I was running through the prisoner's gate for our pub and desync'd into a magic puncture dog pack and was surrounded. That was probably my fastest brutus kill too at like 16-17 minutes or so. Was on par for like a 30-35 minute Merveil kill.

I got to Cruel Vaal with 20 minutes to go before restart, then logged out instead of tping. Got back to him with ~15 minutes, started him because I figured what the hell. My sword and board duelist just bopped him over and over with viper strike while temp chained (still sad Ondar's Guile doesn't work against his ranged adds). Tanked a slam I shouldn't have, but survived at <100 hp thanks to my incredibly good shield (Reinforced Tower with +25 strength, 97% increased armor, 35 life, and 14% lightning resist).

With ~2 minute left he had 10% hp and I just went crazy. He died with <30 seconds to go. Sadly all his drops were dumpster. Anyone know where to farm act 3 cruel as melee, by the way? Docks is a pain. Contemplating barracks because that was the easiest zone for me.
