Spoke a bit too soon. He really needs to get his FT percentage up though, so painful to watch today.

wasn't artest like the laker's best 3 point shooter this season at like 37% or something?
if the shots aren't falling, they aren't falling, but can you really blame him for taking the wide open ones (I admit he'll take 1~2 terrible ones a game)?

nah, second after farmer, 4th if you count two people that only attempted 16 3's

lol at lebron's fts. that's the game right there. and kobe 24 pts on 29 shots. tsk tsk tsk. you know he forced a lot of shots with that sort of stat line.
edit: oh yeah and for the 3rd straight game green sucked balls.

Kobe couldn't get over Durant's speed and length.
Some heart shown from OKC, which is great to see.

Oh my god the Bulls wanted to give that game away so badly. Great game by derrick and the captain.

Durant was crazy. 19 boards at SF while carrying the offensive load and defending Kobe? Really?
Go Spurs!

I think the 19 boards isn't really impressive, he picked up 10-11 in the first quarter, just happened to pick up a buncha boards.

Gotta be in the right spot still. 19 is a lot no matter what.

Disagree. Rebounding is a very underrated part of the the game, and every board he got was one less that one of the Lakers got. One of the statistics that stood out to me the most this game was how badly the Lakers would outrebounded, and how many offensive boards they let the Thunder have. A successful solid defensive play is only complete when the defensive board is achieved, so grabbing defensive boards (and preventing offensive boards) is absolutely key to good defense. Each defensive board Durant grabbed was a completion of a defensive play and one less offensive board for the Lakers, and each offensive board was an extra possession for the Thunder. With the size and height advantage the Lakers have in this series, every rebound is important for the Thunder.
Also, the Lakers certainly didn't help things with all the long shots they took, which tend to result in long rebounds that neutralize our size advantage in the post and lead to fast breaks.

If you let a young undersized team out rebound you that spells a lot of trouble for your transition game.

I hate the Celtics, but Perkins got hammered as he tried to pass it back.

Probably scared of Pierce pulling up early and then getting caught in the act.

I get that, but damn that looked like a routine jumper. Slightly contested, but the defender was slightly off balance when he went up to contest.

That must be heartbreaking. lol.
