Just wanted to say that this was an awesome article. The intro and the pictures were a nice touch as well. 2002 seems like so long ago... I didn't start lurking here till only recently, like mid-2008. So much history from a single game.

edit - great article riptide! You're a great addition to the list of epic writers.

I have great dreams of what TL.net will become, with all its leaders, writers, and general contributors.

I would like to make special mention to Mensrea, whose writing drew me into the scene completely - i had no choice. I found his writing to be the most engaging of any i've ever read, and i do miss his presence here.

I would also like to give special kudos to Hot_Bid as a writer, as i find his prose to also be top tier.
