YoDa is a Korean Terran playing for LG-IM. He was a staple for Incredible Miracle in team leagues, defeating sC, cOre,byun, shine, revival, and Cyrano in the GSTL, and Morrow, Bigs and Mana in the IPL TAC 1 grand finals. Though he has been described as a "practice Bonjwa" and "the best player on IM" by his teammate Mvp, YoDa's Wings of Liberty career lacked high premier tournament finishes.
In the last few seasons of the Wings of Liberty GSL, YoDa finally breached into Code S and maintained it into the transition to Heart of the Swarm. Early on in HotS, YoDa qualified for the IEM World championship, where he advanced first from his group with a 4-1 record, his only loss being to his teammate First. He defeated SKT Parting in the round of 8 to meet Mvp in the semi-finals. In a back and forth series, YoDa edged out Mvp and went on to 4-0 First in the finals.

Huh, surprised he didn't have a fanclub! He has been performing REALLY well for a while now. Extremely consistent.

Sign me up! I didn't notice YoDa very much until IEM WCS, but there isn't hardly any player out there I'm more impressed by! The first terran player who truly used, what HotS has to offer, imo. Congratz for the more than deserved tournament wins!

Pretty sick how a replacement Code S player just went and won the tournament! It's exciting to see there are players so capable who we still haven't seen in the major spotlight.

indeed, unless ones following the GSL like really hardcore. one simply wont know of players like Yoda who are incredibly good but dont participate in foreign tournaments.

I can't believe I haven't posted here. I've been a fan of Yoda since Code S Season 4 of last year. I really think he's is THE up and coming Terran for this season.

So happy to see Yoda take group B. I don't think DRG or Flying were the toughest opponents, but Yoda played really well. A 4-0 in Code S is nothing to sneeze at. Dudes got skills, hopefully this Code S will get him the respect he deserves. He's been on the rise for awhile, and I hope people don't just write him off as a "patch terran" who is winning cause they believe T is overpowered right now.

Yes indeed, very well done by YoDa in GSTL. Completely outplayed Dream in TvT followed by a hilarious 11/11 against DongRaeGu... Although he lost to Super, he brought his team into a fantastic position.
I believe YoDa was the best player for LG-IM in this season's GSTL!
