I feel really good since I haven't made it in such a while. I kept on thinking that I was going to get through the preliminaries each time I participated but I kept failing. If it wasn't the finals then the Ro4 was my obstacle. But today, I overcame those obstacles.
Your finals opponent was the newcomer Lucy. How was the match?
I was taken by surprise because I thought Ready would advance. I won the first game easily with a hellion attack but I just barely won the entire series. I lost humiliatingly in game two thanks to a warp prism rush and in game three, it was just a really difficult victory.
You faced Dear in the Ro4. That must have been your first encounter against a KeSPA player.
He was really good. However, unless I face the top of the top I think I can beat KeSPA players. I think it's doable as long as I don't have to face the best ones.
You made a comeback after being gone for a while so how far do you want to make it?
This time I don't want to fall out of Code A. Beating Genius hyung will be my goal. Genius hyung keeps making fun of me saying that I suck and he keeps on refusing to acknowledge Code B players. This time for sure, I want to defeat Genius hyung.
Anything else you would like to say?
I hope my teammates who have to perform tomorrow also do well and I want to thank our sponsors Lotte, RAZER, and our partner MYM.
It's a shame that Dream has gotten barely any attention after playing for so long. His win against RAIN shows he has the potential to beat anyone, please keep going Dream and you will find success!
I thought Dream looked pretty good today. Close loss to BboongBboong. Sign me up. This kid has a lot of potential and I think he has a legit shot of making it through the up and down matches

Did you watch Dream play? Were you proud of your boy?
He's always been sick some of the best and most badass aggression I've seen out of a terran since gumibear I'm so happy to see him finally get the results to match his skill.
I'm sad Dream didn't win, but a loss to First is hardly a shame given the latter's uncanny knack for beating people with insane TvP (mostly thinking about him beating TaeJa at MLG last summer). Dream'll get his championship eventually, especially if he can transfer his insane TvP-skills to the other two match-ups.
His TvZ is amazing but he sometimes tries too hard to be aggressive and gets caught off guard by tech switches. I'll be honest I'm fairly unaware of his TvT though.
1. Sign me up 2. If you need some images for the OP send me a message - i've made the Banner so it's not very hard to do some more images for your headlines (i also made gfx for TaeJas, HerOs and Seas Fanclub).
I'd like to sign up. Like his games back in EWM and now it looks like his IEM placing wasn't a fluke either. He's going to be a terror real soon if he continues improving.
Is our little kid advancing through a TvT now? He's unstoppable. Code S for season 3 here we go! Dream fighting! ATC update, Dream 4kills team root, Kane Drewbie Catz and Kane again. :D
Funny how protoss defends pretty much all terran can do early-mid game with just mothership core and couple ground units but Terran can't defend blink all in when it is scouted early, protoss mess up and don't start warp gate and terran player is making bunkers + making marauders and concussive shells and when the attack hits dream already had stim...
I fear for his TvT woes since he's gotta beat at least one of TY or Maru to advance. I still believe him and Dark will make it tho! (and hopefully play an epic match since they're both amazing at the MU)
Also, sign me up if I haven't been already! I've been a fan of Dream for a long time, he's so sick!
Seem's he practices his ass off in TvP and neglected TvZ haha so good Vs Life is gonna be hard but if he practices hard enough I give him a chance! Gotta keep Dreaming
Dream played some of the sickest games I've ever seen against Life yesterday!
I get so salty about people thinking Inno would take Life easy then since Dream could do it. The when Inno fails they say Life played so much better, even the casters was saying it. Such bullshit, I get so frustrated that so many people couldn't see how insanely high level Dream vs Life was. Inno played several rungs below the Dream of yesterday.
I'm a total Dream fanboy now, I've been a fan since I saw his godlike Thor micro in some qualifier a month or so ago.
Dream is so confident at the moment and his play shows it, what a convincing beat down of supposedly the best Toss in the world.
I do think the real best Protoss would give him a harder time though (PartinG obviously..) but we wont see those 2 play for a long time now that Dream is out of the GSL
I read Dreams' interview after he beat herO. Apparently he didn't care about his GSL results. He hid his builds on purpose so that he could surprise herO for S2SL. Smart choice imo, since winning S2SL has a bigger reward for him than winning Ro16 of GSL.

Same story as last season really. When Dream preps for a single match he is so fucking good.

Yup, when he fell 0-4 i figured this would happen and maybe thats why herO picked him for gsl
Really glad he didn't crumble under the pressure of being SKT's ace and killed Jin Air. Wouldn't have wanted my least favourite Proleague team to win the round after how well INno started the day.
3rd - 4th place at kespa cup! Thrashing maru even! Dream is truely best terran at the moment. He kinda got rekt by Dark though but seeing Darks ZvT you can kinda forgive him.
Anyone know what happened to Dream in the GSL qualifier? on the team liquid wiki it says that he lost to Armani 2-?. Does the "?" mean that he forfeited his match or what happened?

It means the exact score (2-1 or 2-0) is unknown but Armani won the series. For some reason GSL didn't publish the match scores for the last match of each group, just the players who advanced.
People have told me Dream has retired can anyone confirm whether or not this is true..? If it is that is super unfortunate this dude had some of the most enjoyable Terran vs Zerg to watch
I would consider him effectively retired. He plays no online events, and skipped the VSL, SSL and Super Tournament qualifiers, he only played the Code S ones.

I heard he is living with some SC2 players whose names I can't recall at the moment. However, he didn't try out for VSL, SSL, Super or any online cups and on top of that he failed to qualify for GSL twice this year. I think that is it for him. Really sad that he and Reality retire though.

Dream was in the 2019 Season 1 GSL Code S Qualifiers so I think it is safe to say he's back and trying to make a return? - unfortunately, he didn't qualify though.
He made the 2019 Season 2 GSL Code S Qualifiers day 1. Unfortunetly, he didn't go through, losing in the Losira's hands in quarter finals, and Alive in loser bracket.
Hope he will do it in the next sessions. One of my favorite terran player when he played.
just telling you guys that dream, hurricane and cyan are joining a new gaming club in China for next season's Chinese teamleague. I wonder if anyone who know how to do the stuff on liquipedia could put this on: m.weibo.cn
