if scarlett is the first to pick i think she should pick polt over major. zvt is her best match up and if she wins it takes one from him then violet can take on huk.

I think players are just going to challenge the one who they think they have the best chance to beat to keep their own lives. If this was a winner take all kind of thing, challenging Polt would be a good idea. Now I think it's just too risky, but we'll see!

Also this format seems a bit unfair when a player can just be targeted and challenged over and over xD

Scarlett lost to Major quite convincingly in their last several matchups, and zergs have not quite figured out how to stop hellbat pushes since the recent buff, so it's understandable why she would hesitate to choose Major. Of those remaining, the other "easy" opponent would be HuK, but she lost to him in both of the first two qualifiers.

It all depends on who's the first to pick is. I don't think it will go down as it did yesterday. This is a hole new format to which they never played before. so the first day was a feeling out of how each player picks. i think the players if they play this kind again wouldn't to what they did yesterday i.e picking on puck. i think the best pick for scarlett would still be polt, that is her match up.

I really liked the game 2 that Scarlett did there, denying that 3rd base of HuK and then just doing really good in macro play, but watch out for going too bold with those hydralisks focused on colossi, and losing too many of them to the mass stalkers!

Oh poor HuK ... I'm sad but giddy at the same time.

I didn't even worry after she lost the 3rd base because it's like a staple for her to come back in those situations.

Well that was nice and easy. Felt good with some revenge for the hassle he put her through in the online qualifiers, but felt a little bad for Chris also, he just fell apart in the second series.

It felt a little in HuK's choice explanation that he kinda saw it coming (that he will lose), but he still chose her, maybe because of pride, he said it himself "you can't be weak"

Although Scarlett... is godlike mode today; and winning 2-0 on her choice, then AGAIN 2-0 on being picked by someone else, and moreover against HuK who defeated her recently? I think her confidence must be skyrocketing now; with this top form, she will fight super good if she gets picked again today.

Scarlett should pick Polt for the last match today. Since she has 2 lives left she'll for sure make it to day 3, and she'll have to eliminate him anyway on the 3rd day to qualify for RedBull finals, so she should pick him and try to at least take one life away from him before day 3.
