Former WarCraft 3 pro, he now plays as a Protoss on SC2. His style is micro based and really nice to watch. He transitioned his skills pretty smoothly.
sign me up! i remember following tod like 8 years ago when i played war3, back then he was known for his personality as much as his skill really enjoy watching his stream, one of my favorite EU tosses to watch.
Glad to see you guyz joining :D if any of you got any photoshop skills (or whatever software) could be cool to make a nic banner and ToD is looking for a cool logo for his JustinTV stream
4K.ToD 4life. I remember trippin balls when he was casting some WC3 games for ...estars seoul? anyways it was pretty much his first time as a commentator and he did an amazing job.
added a pretty cool vide that you can watch here ! ToD is attending the LDLC summer trophy this week-end, 8players: Stephano, SarenS, Grubby, biGs, Adelscott, MoMaN, AureS and of course ToD !
[M]Spit: Hi ToD, first of all, we welcome you back in Millenium. Can you explain why you came back to Millenium, two months after leaving the team?
[M]ToD: Hi, Millenium and I had some differences and disagreements in the past which made our work together difficult, so I left. After many discussions, we managed to find a deal that suited both parties so that we could retry an adventure together.
What has changed during this period? From your side or Millenium's
I am more motivated than before, and I can participate to the MLG now.
Do you have been approached by serious teams during this period, or was you yourself looking for a team? Or on the other hand, did you want to go back to Millennium by restarting the dialogue from the beginning?
Yes, I had various offers, I almost moved to another country with one of them. I left because there were problems, coming back seemed quite hard but I always knew it was a possibility.
We were able to see you in one aspect of the game that you enjoy in particular: the Lans and offline events (at the HomeStory Cup for example). What is your focus today in terms of competition? Will we see you more regularly on online tournaments or rather more offline?
Of course, I'd like to do all possible LANs. The only reason I did not make it to the DreamHack is that I had no team. I'll try to participate to online tournaments more than in the past, but it's hard to play all day and to wait a lot between each game since many players are in two tournaments at the same time; it makes the experience very unpleasant, so I usually preferred to ladder. Though e tournaments like GameCreds or Gigabyte can be fun to do from time to time.
[b]Did your playstyle or your overall level evolve since you left?
Yes, I think I am improving steadily, even though I am still very unhappy with my level in general, I would like to train more successful, but it's not always easy to do so at home. I would love to train in Korea for some time to see if I can develop my game a lot, because I think I am somewhat stagnant recently.
You have the opportunity to return some time in Korea thanks to your win in the french WCG Qualifier where you were impressive. Was it a big goal for you and what do you feel at the thought of going back?
Yes, it was important, I could have gone to the Masters where the cash prize was far more important, but instead I went with the WCG. I had to pay out of my pocket to get around and go to hotel. This shows how much I wanted to qualify and go to the WCG, I qualified 6 times in 6 attempts in Warcraft, and now with my only try in Starcraft so I'm pretty proud. Now I'm trying to find a house to train in Korea two weeks before the WCG, I have already contacted a team I like and I await their response to see if anything is possible.
Are we able to see you try to EMI qualifications Cologne on Sunday?
It is indeed possible, but I plan to go to the MLG Anaheim even though I have not my ticket and my visa. So for now, I train.
Back in a team you know well, how do you judge the level?
This is one of the best teams outside of Korea in my opinion.
And the French? How would compare your level to the others?
Millennium is the best French multigaming team by far, the SC2 team has three of the best French players. So I would describe the level with : fairly good ;-). In general, there is a lot of good players in France, it reminds me of the beginning of WC3 when there was a lot of players who could make the international so I'm happy with that, I hope that is nationcup will be put in place so that we can do some damage!
Is what we can see you do the ladder to the Millennium TV?
Yes, I will even have my own show for two hours a week when I'll ladder and commenting and I will analyze the replays.
Thank you for taking some time for us to answer, I leave you the last words of this interview.
Well thanks to all the people who follow me, I also thank the sponsors : Materiel.net, and MSI Winamax ~!
For those who have the honor of speaking french :p, ToD will cast an interactive show every thursday on Millenium, where he will analyze replays and comments its own games. Many loved him on the HSC, and I hope he will be able to do the same in english soon. (Source)

Doesn't matter too much to him I'd guess since he said that he isn't happy with his form right now and I agree, those of us who followed him in Wc3 knows how good he can be and he isn't there yet.
He also said that he is planning to move to Korea and stay there for a long time.
ToD is absolutely crushing it. Too bad they haven't broadcasted any of his games. But I feel really happy for him because I saw in an interview that he was training really hard for Anaheim. ToD fighting!!
Sign me up, sometimes i don't like his playstile based on waiting until he gots 200 pop 3-3-3 but i must agree he impressed me this time, you must see how he out microed alicia on the mlg open bracket. The korean 4gate him 2 times and two times he handles it with 3 gates, poor alicia, he shouldnt think to be beat like that.
i know you'll probably never see this but well done at mlg man. used to watch you and rotterdam commentate gomtv.net wc3 tournaments and that was a blast, so nice to see you doing well in sc2.
but why did you abandon the humans?! there are no blademasters with claws of attack anymore, you'll be safe... maybe
Come on people this man needs even more Love then hes getting, a rising star who'll soon become one of the best if not the best players in the world! and I don't mean just the foreign community!
Can't wait to see this guy's games from Anaheim. Really great to see more foreign players getting to that crazy level where they can compete with top koreans. Grats on your MLG run, and I'll be rooting for you in the future!
This guy is super tall lol. I met him at MLG and he's like 6 feet or 1m9-2m w/e units you wanna use. Quite impressive when he beat Alicia both winner and loser bracket. His PvP is really good.
I knew he's good, but I was still quite surprised to see him beating alicia. Can't wait to see those replays. I really would like to see him going to korea(he mentioned it in an interview). Keep improving ToD! btw found this pic, it was posted before somewhere here on TL, but anyways here is it.
hook me up with an invite to the fanclub, ToD's a boss. also ToD if you read this i NEED moar content!! i'm like a junky coming back to your stream everyday to see if i missed a streaming sesh. keep up the steller work and glgl with future events.
Short summary : ToD and Bjoran have explained during ToD last show "JToD" the reasons of ToD's departure. He (ToD) wants to go to Korea before the WCG.World in order to train and stay for months whereas they (Millenium) can't afford to send him here more than one or two months (because the sponsors want him to play in europe tourneys)
ToD definitely needs more attention even by this community. He's obviously a great player and of course one of the most talented RTS player in Europe and of course in the world. We need more ToD! Honestly there are a lot of players getting a lot more attention than ToD even though they're are both skillwise and as a personality not at least that interesting as ToD. More ToD!
Hi guys! Poori explained the situation quite well, can add that he said he'll prolly live in the Gom House 1st as SaSe and him are very good friends. He also mentionned he met some very nice koreans at Anaheim, which means accessible practice partners and maybe some opportunities who knows! keep cheering!
GL with your new team, A little unexpected though because of the lineup of Fnatic (no zerg, your worst matchup) But it probably means that you will participate to the next MLGs when you'll come back from korea.

Nice showing taking the Samsung tournament, besting Nerchio and Cupcake (ThomasG.) He was the best danish wc3 player (nelf) up to starcraft 2. Didn't know he's switched yet.

Have you ever heared of Grubby or Moon? Tod is basically like these guys except that NOT everybody knows him. Old WC3 legend, has been practicing in Korea for the last two months, just like Sase. And it's showing against one of the best ZvPers outside of Korea.

I can't agree with this, ToD hate the ZvP before to go to KoreA i think his travel enable him to level up in this match-up.

?? that's exactly what he said (except he has been in Korea only for 1 month or so)
I'm proud that I actually joined this fanclub already on the first day. Always knew he was an amazing player. ToD and Grubby, the two former WC3 heroes, now powering it up as Protoss in SC2 - both looking amazing already! GOGO ToD!

ROFL... the fuck? that's exactly what he was saying. Classic example of misinterpretation.
In addition to the WCG where he got a vey tough group to go through, ToD has been voted in a showmatch against a player from Philippines, courtesy of Samsung. keep cheering guys, hopefully his 1.5months in Korea will kick in next week

I think that Yoan don't get the support he diserves from french fans. It makes me a bit sad. Even we don't speak much about you, you stay in our minds Yoan, gogo, don't give up !!!!
You mean on TL? Most french don't know how to speak english, so they aren't on TL. And since he's not millenium anymore most of the french Mille fanboys forgot about him I guess

What has Millenium to do with ToD? What do you want to news about him that they didn't already? When he wins a game in ladder? ToD has a facebook/twitter for this. When he posts a blog? Fine, he's on Fnatic, and they have a page for this. Everything related to esport and ToD has been newsed on Millenium (ToD's participation in Iron Squid tournament, WCG, DH, Fxopen invitationnal, and so on).

edit: pm me if anything to add, this has no place here
ToD definitely deserves more attention. I think he slowly starts to become one of the best foreign Protoss players but he just needs a chance to prove himself. Gogo ToD, you are awesome
ToD's cast at Numericable Cup was really good, I didn't know he can cast so well You can clearly see he has HUGE knowledge about the game. Now I am watching him casting Ritmix RSL playoffs, I hope we will see much of ToD casting in the future. However, I also hope he is not gonna give up his efforts to become top player.
listening to him cast Ritmix now. Loving how much he shows the players love when they do well. A lot of casters are waaaay too critical, while he, as a pro player tends to be much more humble.
Yep, that final vs Strelok was pretty nice. You managed the mech army pretty well I must say. I hope you'll join a team soon so that I have to team to cheer for xD
I played against you quite a few games in BW when you were Masse_Todonte I remember - you were quite the acid tongue back in days, but so was I. I continued on WC3 and saw you rise to an international player while other french like Fatc or Intox just disappeared one after another, and now watching you cast WCS. Well, great casting man.
WOW! ToD You are impressing me so much these days, not only do you cast with the best, your beating AMAZING players.... your looking your top form, awesome to see keep it up!!!!
welcome to the new members and I'm sure ToD will be very happy of your support Will try to update the OP asap, but casting WCS in French takes me a lot of time!
If someone got any talent for banner and stuff that could make this fanclub look better, feel free to shoot me a pm
I was banned from WCR back in the day for poking at you, which came from my dislike of how emotional and whiny you could get after a loss... But god damn if you didn't become a full professional package, and a fabulous commentator as well! Sign me the f*ck up!

Wow nice to see ToD competing at the highest level again. First his impressive promotion into WCS premier league and now this impressive run through dreamhack.
Tod, your castings at the homestorycup 7 expecially the ones with Kas and Mana have been epic. so entertainig. the best i have seen after the korean castings with MC. i have seen thousands of games casted.
Well done in the challenger league ToD, that game 3 vs Targa was pretty epic! loved the air switch when he had so much commited to the swarmhost and broodlord!
