For anyone interested in re-living THE GENIE TERRAN's WoL career of sc2 domination (and a little HoTS), including some more recent matches available from the end of 2012 - the start of 2013, check out: http://sc2links.com/search.php?player=MVP

Everybody speaks like surgery is the perfect and ideal option but as far as I know, we still can't treat every single condition with surgery and I don't recall seeing Mvp mention surgery as an easy way out to get back on form. I mean some operations imply something like 9 month recovery so it's not like it is an obvious answer to his situation because it is currently the only way he makes money. If someone has a a link to an interview where he considers surgery and he talks about this possibility, I'm interested, because I find it harsh to read all those comments angry at Mvp for not getting surgery.

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=371249 Seo Yeon Ji: Injured players such as Flash have also had surgery, and also rested for a few months. Can't Mvp do the same? Mvp: This isn't that easy a matter to settle. Firstly, we don't have an off-season. There is very little time to rest in between the GSL seasons. Also, global tournaments are constantly going on. In addition, Kespa players have joined in the scene recently, and that makes it all the harder. If I rest for three months and then come back, I might as well have retired. Edit: I don't remember where it was confirmed it is a neck issue, though Mvp brings it up in a few interviews that his neck/head hurts. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=328864 How is your health lately? I thought the reason I couldn’t exert any force on my wrist was because of the wrists themselves. However, I recently got in touch with GGPlay (T/N: the name MVP mentions has two results in TLPD, the other, Jjando, just looks very unlikely to be whom he is talking about). He told me that he had the exact same symptoms that I have. At the time, GGPlay retired and I continued. After GGPlay got out of the army, he had an examination which revealed that the problem wasn’t in the wrist but in the cervical disc. So, I am planning to get my cervical disks examined shortly.

Even though he speaks about three months, he may be speculating a little bit since he didn't actually engage in the process. No matter what, I'd really like some people to be less aggressive about what Mvp should do because it is really none of their business, especially when they don't know the complete story. I really hope he recovers someday, but in the meantime I can only wish him good luck.

Obviously its his choice, i hope that he will continue play a very long time!
