Q. How much do you know about Teamliquid.net and the foreigner scene? I know that teamliquid is a global site. I also know that many foreigner fans rely on this site for SC news. Teamliquid is difficult for me to navigate so I haven’t used it too much. However, I am surprised there was a fan club for me. I am thankful to all the foreign fans that are paying so much attention to me. I would like to respond to them as well with better results!
Regarding the show with the kpop girls, Nada's section starts at 1:40 of the second video where he's introduced by his friend. Just fyi so no one else has to sit through the first part like I had to.

the greatness that is nada cannot be contained in one little fanclub thread on TL. You will need to make a vast library of Nada references and threads from all over TL and the rest of the net. Furthermore i think he should be referred to as nada rather then ogs.nada because he is so much bigger then this relatively new sc2 team. other then that nice

It's pretty amazing that he still wins the games that he does with a lot less practice than the others. Considering how far he made it, and his games vs July, I'd say after school's done, everyone else WATCH OUT.

Oh my god... Nada won that game in NASL? I quit watching when it got to 130 food vs 200, and 400 income vs 1200, because it was getting too depressing... gotta go rewatch it!

When NaDa went to sc2,kespa sort of deleted his achievements etc off their website. I dont know whether it is official or not.They were reinstated back as Morale stated after.

actually, in a lot of interviews the players mentioned it's horrible to be under contract with kespa, and really prefer the freedom playing sc2 (without kespa). I dont know if its true but apparently atm there are still a lot of bw pros that would want to switch to sc2 but cant due to kespas contracts. so i suppose maybe nada's contract just finished when sc2 came out and he decided to make the switch.

Majority of players have been in Code S since the start...
NaDa has just made at least Ro8 in every single GSL he's ever been in, and the only person who's come close to that type of consistency was Clide who made Ro16 in all the GSL's this year. Every other top tier player including MC, MKP, NaDa, Mvp etc. have all dropped out in the Ro32 before at least once.
Damn, 3-0.. Wasn't expecting that, I gotta say. But still I love the way NaDa plays, I think his style is definitely how we're going to start to see terrans playing from now on.

GSL needs to send NaDa out to MLG so he can own the noobies that play in that tournament. If he trains for a full month while university is on summer break he will tear that place up.
That game vs KeeN was amazing. That poor bastard never stood a chance. Even Tasteless and Artosis just had to laugh at the fact by around the 11 minute mark the workers killed count was 32 - 1 in NaDa's favour with his endless aggression.
Amazing play. He should get top 4 this GSL or even win it if he puts in the practice for it.

This is Nada's GSL! He is going to be so strong with all the extra practice time from his break. Nestea and MC arent on his half. I can definitely see him going to the finals. His TvT is solid and that's basically all he has to play! GO NADA!!!!

Do we have a list of his accomplishments? According to Liquidpedia he's statistically the greatest BW player of all time...which is incredible. As far as SC2 goes I know he keeps getting mentioned as the most consistent GSL competitor despite not yet winning a championship.

Man i really thought he could take assembly. Nada is a very consistent player, but sometimes his play and his builds are inspiring (like the builds he usually prepares for gsl) and sometimes he just plays kind of standard nothing special (like at assembly) i think jet lag may have been a factor for him though , in fact i have to beleive that! especially with all his korean brethren taking down every other big tournament they attend.
He's going to play the person who comes second in group C next. IMO that will be Killer, but it could very well be HuK. Whether it's HuK or Killer, I hope NaDa wins. ^^

anyone know about this guy? i just checked his match history and he beat fxo optikzero last night so he must be pretty good, i also played him in a 2v2 league and his sign in info on the tournament website said beastyqt, but i watched our 2v2 replay and then a beastyqt replay and the hotkeys were completely different... also hes 174-7 in 1v1, 145-11 in 2v2, 120-3 in 3v3, and 77-0 in 4v4... something seems weird about this guy
For some reason people underrated nada in the MLG preshow... They said he would finish behind sheth ret and kiwi.... Even though he has been ro4 in GSL and always gets out of group.... oh well... T_T
If you're referring to the ogsnada that was on Dragon's stream, then it's a fake. guy was bronze last season (which explains his high win ratio) and has a tonne of games in 2v2 3v3 4v4.
Also Dragon himself said he couldn't speak Korean.

I love NaDa, but I just don't know about his impact in SC2 yet. He's remarkably consistent, but he doesn't seem to have the "elite" factor that separates others from the pack. He seems to just fall in to the "very good but not great" category.

i think their game on Shattered Temple was even more impressive. NaDa pulled a 25-30 supply lead out of thin air by straight out macroing a tiny edge better without taking a risk.
Sign me up. I registered an account and made my first post just to say that. This guy is officially my favorite player in current SC2 now after that comeback in Game 7 vs PuMa.
Thank you so much! I don't recall Nada ever being that demonstrative in Brood War. Something about the crowd and beating fellow ex-BW pro Puma after being behind in extended series lit a fire in Nada.
Most SC2 matches I watch these days I don't care much about for anymore, but when NaDa got to game7 against PuMa I was cheering and fistpumping in my room every time he got a victory. Great job and hopefully we'll see him perform even better in the future. Been a NaDa fan since ~2005. Sign me up!
I generally hate Terran but watching how well Nada handled the pressure of a VERY tense game 7 with Puma, even though he didn't play close to perfectly floating over 1K minerals for a long time, he won me over and made me a fan.

True. I thought it was a troll too... after the game I watched the replay and he had like 300-400 average and he had a very good unit control... I mean... I think he's the real one too... His ratio is like 92%, LoL.
Definitely not the real Nada, just some good EU Terran or something like that. Nada is too nice and I doubt he can type in english that well.
Also what he said in the Code S Oct selection was amazing. not gonna quote it because I don't remember word for word but go check out the part where Nada selects MMA into his group too hear Nada's epicness.
When I see NaDa play it just feels like he's doing stuff like drops and such just because he's bored and doesn't know what to do with his immense APM O.O

I am currently making a montage for this champ cuz hes my favorite player by far. i've just started using sony vegas so im not amazing with it at all, but i have to make one because nada needs one and more people need to realise how badass he is.

Well, for the last 5 hours i've been trying to upload the video and its constantly getting an error. I can't express how frustrated I am, but if i do eventually get it to work then i'll post it here.

Interesting variation of 1-1-1. Nada open with two port banshee in 2 banshee harass, then 4 banshee harass. For the details, when he builds the two starports, he lifts the barracks at the choke to put it close to the starports, builds the two tech labs on the barrack and the factory, and build a bunker instead of the barracks.
Push out at 9:30 with marines, 3 tanks and the 4 repaired banshees and 8 SCVs.
And gets countered by blink stalkers + probes when the nexus is about to fall ><
Opens FE, 2 bunker to defend, then 1-1-1 into single cloaked banshee harass. Drops two more barrack, then 2 others for a 5-1-1 push at 11:40 with 3 tanks, 2 banshees and 1 raven. Just before leaving, drops his third at 11:00.
The push gets smashed by chargelots + stalkers + immortals, but with nice focus fire on the stalkers during the big fight, the remaining banshee scores a few kills uncontested afterwards. Transitions in heavy bio (no more tanks) and ghosts.
A few back and forth things afterwards, but basically, the econ advantage overwhelms the protoss.

I missed the first part of his game against IMReady. Did his 2port banshee not do enough damage?
Erm... middle. The first two banshees score something like 3 drones and 2 sentries. Then, with the reinforcements, he assaults the stalkers directly and scores 3 stalkers. He microes them like a god so that he loses none of them, so he retreats just after, repairs them (with 10 SCVs!) and do the push just as the repairs finish.
Fast CC with 3 rax opening from nada against 1-1-1 with reactored barrack and a CC (slightly later than Nada's). Nada pushes back the hellions with his marines (hellions really need this HotS buff... hellions are supposed to counter marines...), cleans a drop of 8 marines.
Tanks stare at each other at 13;00 in the middle of the map, but Gumiho makes a runby of marines (through to corridor) and scores a few SCVs. Nada takes the gold, then catches Gumiho out of position and basically trades all his marines against Gumiho's marines and tanks, and forces Gumiho's CC to lift off from the gold.
Gumiho make lots of marine runbys though the corridor, and Nada seems determined to NOT build a barracks to wall the corridor =/
Gumiho does something cute by sandwiching Nada around the middle "hole" with tank lines. Nada hesitates, dance with his marines + unsieged tanks, and just fucking goes kill Gumiho's left half. But he loses all his marines, and Gumiho pushes for the win.
Note : Nada loves spending scan all the time. Must be an habit from BW, he loses a fuckton of minerals by not making MULEs...
Nada opens with a lone rax + tech lab into marauder + concussive shell. Throw his CC then 2 other rax. Proceed to pressure with one marine and two marauders and to lose everything to a couple of stalkers and a zealot ><. Makes one ebay, 2 bunkers and a turret at the ramp, then takes his 2nd and 3rd gas. Holds a pretty impressive push at 9:00.
Nada makes a reactor starport and a 3rd CC at 11:40, and transitions in his usual heavy bio play with ghosts.
OC opening, then hides his second barrack (hoho!), with which he makes marauders. A hero SCV gets into the protoss base and see the stargate. Pushes with 3 marauders, 9 marines while the void ray reach his base, but is forcefielded. Drives the void ray away with a few marines.
Gets smashed by the protoss push just after, I don't get why (he didn't have a CC, he just built marauders + rines, and got destroyed by gateways units + 1 void ray ><)
Nada makes a 1 rax FE, gets pressured by one zealot, followed by one talker. Nada's micro makes him lose exactly 0 units =) A trustworthy 1-1-1 follows with a cloaked banshee that does exactly nothing. Nada adds 4 rax, and push again with 3 tanks, 2 banshees and 1 raven at 10:40. Nada the metronom!
In fact, not really, he scans an incoming push, waits a bit, re-scan and go with a fourth tank. This time the push succeeds.
Note on Nada's push : he always throw down two bunkers after he sieges, just in front of his tanks. This "forces" the protoss to attack him before they are finished AND provide a cover from one direction (zealots can't attack the tanks)
So, Nada's stream has led to 3 victories, 4 defeats. Keep up the good work Nada! Fighting!

NaDa just lost a 1 hour and 10 minutes games that pretty much defined how imbalance and broken this game is and yet he still hits the find match button almost instantly after. What a man. That's inspirational.
Just from watching the game I'm laughing and crying at how dumb this game is, I want to punch my monitor, I feel so bad for NaDa, yet he seems like he does not even care and keep playing. hats off.
Nada's episode of Off The Record has been probably the best so far of all the episodes. He's shown a lot of interest and is definitely doing his best for his fans. He starts discussions and talks about things without being prompted instead of just talking only when asked a question. Definitely check it out.

Even though he never achievd the same amount of success in SC2 as he did in BW, I have always had so much respect for the guy. Truly sad to see him go without more of a bang

Also I'm looking for the song(s) he plays when he wins, it's always the same, does someone knows what it is ? Often he starts the song when he starts the final push (which cracks me up everytime, it's like the signal that he's gonna rape the guy...).
NaDa is quite the entertainer these days and he still has sick mechanics (at his age, I'm quite surprised) to keep up with other pros. He also seems fond of using his signature 2 factory builds in TvP.
Also great interview, he 1) found some sort of life balance with vacations, low stress during practice while still managing to sacrifice everything for progaming 2) Performed strongly when it mattered (120% he mentions) 3) Listened to feedback, had a network of people
I see NaDa still streaming BW! Sup with him? Is he planning to play qualification for next ASL or KSL? One of the fav BW player of all time!
