The point he's trying to make is that there's a big difference between cheering on your favorite player and completely overdoing it, coming across as that over-eager 10-year old kid that squeals like a little girl and who makes everyone uncomfortable. Especially considering this is a mostly college-aged community.
Nothing wrong with being super excited or posting "in the moment" but if you're going to post in the moment like that, you should be prepared to see some negative feedback especially if you post in all caps.

I don't know how long you've been here but I'm kind of shocked you would describe TL as one of the "free-ist" forums on the internet. In any case, you did something someone didn't like. Oh well, it's the internet right? Just move on instead of coming off (frankly) as a little bitch. There will always be people that are "depressing" and "moment killing." He's trying to change you by making you not post in all caps anymore, and you're trying to make him stop being "moment killing." Wouldn't it be easier to just stfu (both of you) and realize there's a middle ground here and both should probably compromise?]
As for HuK ... wow I've always been a small fan just because he's on TL, but seeing his play this tournament has been ridiculous for me personally. I've always been quite interested in the competitive SC:BW and SC2 scene, but I've never felt so much personal stake in a player. Sure I always rooted for Boxer, but there's a whole new level of pride to see a foreigner taking down multiple Koreans.
Looking awesome HuK. You don't have to make every game epic though, feel free to just smash them once in a while, for the sake of our blood pressure if nothing else!!!
