If IdrA can survive Rains timing attacks, he can win with infestor/brood lategame, and maybe stephano has helped idra with the good roach max builds. The one part of rain's game i have ever criticized was his zvp lategame.

The percentage is low, but I believe. Rain's MLG pvz wasn't great at all imo, osl he had much more time to prepare, so using what ive seen in weekend tournies, and IdrA did pretty well last MLG, and has beat IMFirst recently and given quite a few other good ones 1-2 runs.

I have faith. 2 months of improvement while only having to practice 2 mu's mostly of his potential opponents can give him that edge.

Beating Rain will be tough, but all he needs to do is hold Rain's 3 base all in (usually a 3 base 4 gas blink stalker immortal sentry timing at 14 minutes). It is a INSANELY hard build to hold. Rain is the king of PvZ mid game. If IdrA can hold the 3 base all in Rain will be totally unprepared for the broodlords and he should be able to steamroll.

We all thought IdrA was going to get stomped in the group he just swept without dropping a map (at least didn't expect him to do as well as he did), and look what happened. The confidence he's got to have at them moment I believe will carry him to a win against rain.

Pretty sure that group stage showing is enough to say this is a good tourney for idra.
Objectively, beating Rain is very unlikely for Idra. Rain one of best midgames ZvP and that is always been Idra's weakness in the match up. Hope he does well but I feel its Rain's tourney to lose.
