I don't think Idra plays sloppy because in all those games he showed brilliant moments of flanking or timings, doing lots of damage and getting ahead. Maybe I'm wrong but he did not take the games vs forgg 100% seriously or he just simply tried to see what works out or what does not work out. Some players do really care about winning on ladders vs particular individuals.
that is kind of obvious i guess. in tournaments he used nydus a couple of times vs terran appropriately. on stream you wont see that happening. (most notably game 1 vs puma iem china or more recently game 1 vs jjakji at ipl4 on sandshorn mist)

Fellow Grackheads. We all come to this sacred thread every day to bask in the glory that is Gregory "IdrA" Fields, be it fangirling cheering or cursing we are all united in our fandom. And never has our fandom been more important. Greg's recent loss to + Show Spoiler + hurt us all, but it was obvious that Greg was the one hurting the most, staring wordlessly in to the score screen. Our overseer needs us, and lets not dissapoint him. Inspired from A Zergling for Jaedong, the IdrA fanclub is now taking on its own project. The concept is simple. We want every IdrA fan to create a little something for IdrA. It could be anything. It could be fanart ( skill is not a factor), a supportive letter, a gift, ect. What you make is not an issue, all that matters is that you made it.Method: Well first you need to make something. Be sure to put your heart and soul into this. But, how are you going to get it to me? - Mail: If you live in the US (and I suppose Canada/Mexico too), send me your gift to this address:
+ Show Spoiler +Donald Smith, Jr. 115 E 92nd St Cut Off, LA 70345
!Important! Please take a picture or scan your gift to IdrA before sending it to me. It would be so unfortunate if the package would get lost/arrive too late/ect.
- Email: If you live overseas, don't be discouraged! While IdrA might not get your gift in it's physical form, he can still get a copy. If you can scan your document (fanart/letter), do so and email it! If you can take a picture of whatever you're making, do so and email it!
+ Show Spoiler +
- Donations: But sometimes a scanned document isn't enough. We'll be doing a mini-donation drive (via PayPal) to assist in this project. With the money collected, we as a fanclub will decide what to buy for IdrA. If you want me to specifically order something with your money instead of going into the collective route, just PM me or message me on skype (wholegrn).
PayPal not set up yet. Will do it tomorrow Also, we have a skype chat group going on for this project, so if you want to join in, add me on skype (wholegrn), and I'll add you to the group. Nothing important is being discussed there, but it is useful for quick questions. And why not? We might use it more as we discuss what to do with the donations too. Deadlines: Deadlines won't be super strict, but make it easier for me and get your stuff in on time. If you miss the deadline, there is not guarantee that your stuff will get to IdrA. - Mail & Email: May 24th CDT
- Donations: TBA (The plan is to be a week from when I start accepting.)
Closing Words:All I have to say is that I'm really impressed at all of the support that you guys are giving this project. If this succeeds, it will prove that we're not just a fanclub, we're something much bigger. Tell your friends who have any shed of respect for IdrA to help contribute. Even simple letters of encouragement will help. But most importantly, remember that this is for IdrA. He has been preforming bad recently. He needs this. He needs to know that we still support him 100%. We may discuss his flaws and be critical of him, but at the end of the day, we look up to him. If you have any questions, email, PM, or message me on skype (wholegrn).
This post deserves to be on every page of the Fanclub until it's done. :D
Will donate asap and I'll try think think of a nice letter to write

Obnoxious perhaps, but there's a ring of truth to it. The real question however is how we can help IdrA get back his mojo... Can the community do anything for him :/?

Get back to winning Idra :-)
|
I am not a fan at all and don't really like his attitude towards people that he judges to be less skill than him.
However i dislike even more the fact that some people just hurt someone when he has a breakdown in his carreer. So i just write this few words to tell Idra to not give it up cause in all sports, great players often faces difficult moments. Hope you will be able to come back and if you did, just remind how difficult it is to be in bad shape and don't be too aggressive against less skill players
best luck to you

That NASL article is tough T__T. It seems a bit heavy on the psychoanalysis, but maybe there are shreds of truth to it.
Anyway, I was wondering if Idra has any plans to go back to Korea? If TSpoon and Puma will be in the Slayers house, hopefully he will head back. Also, Incontrol may be there for GSL and DeMuslim for his Up/Down matches (not sure if these are still happening)? With that kind of support, it may be a great thing. Additionally, with HOTS coming out soon, I am guessing that Korea would be the best place to be as that is where the metagame develops the fastest?

I don't read what other people write about Greg. Generally it's rubbish. He's the one who knows what's up, he's the one it affects the most. He's the one whose business it is.
I definitely think he should go back to Korea -- at this point there will be so many people in the Slayers house that he won't ever feel lonely.

whole i have one request. can you screen the letter to make sure there are no troll letters and/or very critical and mean ones there. i just think this should be something positive and supportive. because we all know how much idra hates getting critiques from non-pro players.

Oh god, that will be so fun. Especially with the drawing skills of most people here, including me, I couldn't draw a human being if my life depended on it.

Is that his response to the NASL article?
