Today I attended the Kara 3rd fanmeeting, which was a 2hour fest of handing out awards, playing games with the audience, talking and of course performing. Me and an american girl representing the western hemisphere out of maybe 500 fans. This was the first time I saw Kara, so of course very exciting. One korean fan outside was so happy to see me there he gave me a free Lupin CD. I got a pretty lousy seat at the back, but sweet talking some staff I got moved to an OK seat but nowhere near the usual proximity when I go to shows. Hara is a longtime favourite of mine after seeing invincible youth. I knew that she is thin, but she was seriously thin. And her current hairstyle doesnt fit her. Instead it was HSY who was shining brightly at the stage, followed by Jiyoung who was also looking great. Nicole looked very fit, but shes not the top of my list generally. Didnt understand much of the dialogue and games as my korean is still rusty, but some lucky fans won some competition and got to go up stage and get a hug from selected member and also picture taken with the group. I was hoping for the look at me im a foreigner special treatment but there was unfortunately none. Kara fancrowd was very well behaved and considerably more mature than for instance Exo (lol). During the performances the Kara members walked around the crowd and was letting some fans sing in the microphone. I was sitting at the edge of an aisle and Gyuri walked just next to me. Unfortunately she was singing her lines right when she passed or I would have tried to stop her and say hi (or do a taeyeon drag her out^^). She was shorter than me (172cm) even in high heels and looked very thin next to me. I wonder how thin Hara would look next to me. Unfortunately again Gyuri is my least favourite member, it should have been someone else coming my way. Anyhow very enjoyable fanmeeting, nice fanchants during the 5 songs performed. Tomorrow I will be going to inkigayo to see some After school poledancing up close. Hopefully I can also get into the liveshow and see some sistar, chocolat and new rainbow. | ||
