Just came back home from a 3 day vacation in Boracay.

Very nice place to go clubbing since the huge amount of Korean vacationists have the DJs mixing in quite a few k-pop tracks into the mix.

Heard some f(x) and 2NE1 while on the dance floor and of course the obligatory Gangnam Style was being played.

This reminds me: I've always wondered if Korean nightclubs play remixed versions of kpop songs, or if they have their own club music scene going on...

Hyeri and Sojin keeps looking smoking in their perfs but the stylist must be hating Minah or something, keep giving her those pants that makes her ass looks huge and not in a good way.

Also I swear to god I've seen Stephanie perform that song before, how is that a debut? Just on that music show or what?

it was stuff like kpop remixes in the clubs playing electronic dance music.
in korean rap/hiphop clubs i never really heard korean rapmusic, if i remember correctly.

Of course having a "bias" is creepy, but who gives a shit? Everyone in this thread is creepy in one way or the other, some are just a lot creepier than others. I just do this k-pop thing as a hobby to pass the time, I don't direct my life around it. If there wasn't something like Secret to keep me interested and engaged, I would move on to a different hobby.

Unrelated note:
Minah's voice sounds like it will break before her 25th birthday. She's just powering out her vocals with minimal technique and it sounds awful at times.

I say keep the pants. About Stephanie, I suppose on that show, I didn't keep up with that because the song is awful.

Yeah Klogg this is true, it kinda sucks she could be one of the better kpop vocalists if she got more formal training

It is perfectly healthy to have a bias. If it wasn't for my unreasonable love for Sojin I would never of started learning Korean, which is not only extremely fun, but intellectually stimulating and genuinely gratifying. There really isn't anyway to get around how creepy it looks to other people though.

So i finally decided to go to music core today after living in korea for nearly 8 months now. Was pretty amazing the girl's day club like organizer is actually australian so he speaks really good english and he regonized me from the day i met him at the fansign i went to before. So I got in and ended up getting to see the whole show which was awesome. The only group I didn't get to watch was DBSK who pre recorded on a separate date. Maybe you heard all 25 of us screaming for GsD but we were far away from the audience microphones so I don't know.

Then after the show they said to stick around cause one member was coming with like 3 signed new albums and poster from their new album. It was really awesome of them and I ended up winning one of the signed poster which was super boss. Im eating know spend 14 out today. So I will post a pic of it later.

I actually bought this cardholder and my mother just keeps asking me who this is. So I'd answer she's the girl from IY that caught the chicken in ep1 (my brother and I convinced her to watch ep1) and I just really like her. She goes "but she isn't even pretty" .... -_- Oh ok mom.

Not a lot of people notice I have it so I dunno how awkward it would be or maybe not at all.

It's like you were starting to like kpop and feeling the thrill of discovering your bias but then, some friend comes along and makes fun of you. For me, my bias only makes me feel great. The way she positively influenced my outlook and lifestyle really makes me thankful and I want to work harder and become a better person so that I can, maybe, one day inspire someone else as she did for me. Sure I spend a lot of time in the day keeping up with her recent pictures, performances, and activities, but I'm sure I'd find an equally or even less productive way to spend my free time regardless.

Thanks to her, I started working out routinely, challenging myself to improve my korean, trying not to swear, finding the value is being nicer to people (even those I don't like), eating healthier, dressing better, etc etc. The improvements of pre-Taeyeon to post-Taeyeon Xenocide_Knight are really innumerable. I know it's a little weird to have a "bias" and it's certainly able to be considered obsessive to some.

But I always remember what she said,
“So that they will never be ashamed to call themselves SNSD fans, we must truly work harder.” and I show my thanks by never being ashamed to call myself her fan. And of course, my new life motto
"So that my parents, friends, and all those who associate with me will never be ashamed of me, I must truly work harder."

Well put. Kpop (and everything that comes with it) has defenitly been been quite motivational/inspirational at times for me as well.
