Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level

Talk about beating a dead horse.. Everyone got different opinions, on youtube and rkpop they probably love it and here the majority seem to hate it. Different communities likes different things.
I like the new Yoon ji song but the MV is kinda boring sad to say T_T

Japan has a much different taste in regards to pop than both Korea and the West. I think the producers and marketing team have done an amazing job. Great contrasting colors, crazy chorus...perfect for where they are promoting. I think SM know how to get things done...
kyary pamyu pamyu is awesome. never heard yohio before, but wtf is with his eyes

I think SNSD has gone downhill since Gee, because I don't like any of the songs they've released after it. Are the songs they make beneficial to their popularity? Maybe, but that has no bearing on my opinion, which is why I don't know why Firehand brought this up in the first place. This isn't a discussion about the relative popularity of each group, it's a subjective discussion about music we like. Saying SNSD is going down the shitter isn't a popularity statement, it's a statement regarding personal opinion and should be regarded as such.

This includes all title songs and a few album songs that I've bothered to pay listen to because a large volume of users said that they were worth checking out.
if you're asking me whether I liked Girls Generation (the song), then yeah. But I don't know I'd really regard it as an SNSD song or just a promoted SNSD cover.

And for the record--I, too, find it a rather bad song. ofc I don't want to start that argument again. However, I always say that music is the last thing you should care about in regards to Korean Pop. If you're listening for quality music, then..........well.........
Isn't it evident in this thread alone where it's split into two main topics; talking about artists/posting pics of them/talking about their social lives and the songs themselves, which are split up at a ratio of about 99:1 (I'll let you try figure out which one is which)
There is much more to Kpop than music. But again, if you're in it for the music alone, I can't really do anything to change your opinion.

But saying SNSD is going downhill is just.....wrong? Like....statistically?
There were still quite a few good SNSD song after Gee. But as of recent they really have gone down the shitters
I think it's a bit ridic to even mention the Japanese market when talking about the song. That's like saying "camry sells well, therefore camry is a good car". It has no barring on the actual topic of the music.

New Instant Romantic Floor album coming up. Their first in 5 years. First two singles for this album are great, this one sounds like it will be great as well.

This has been brought up before but it boils down to this: there's only so much discussion you can have about a song, whereas idols appear in shit daily and so there are attractive pictures to be had.
but that doesn't mean that I don't listen to kpop for the music, and that music is still the main draw for me. I said this last time you rolled around, but if all I cared about was hot girls doing aegyo I'd just go to some racing models "discussion" thread instead.
@your edit- you have seemed to missed the part where I said that that statement was subjective about my enjoyment of their music and not about their popularity. Sones by all the shit that comes out. Similar to how AKB sells 100x more than any other Jartist despite many people who like jpop I know hating them.

The problem with that whole argument was that it boiled down to me stating that enjoyment is whatever the fuck you get out of it and you insisting that I must enjoy it the way you enjoy it.
edit- As much as I hate the whole "SUNNY AEGYO CCP" schtick I must admit that while I enjoy aegyo Sunny's is the only one so revolting that I do indeed want to punch the shit out of her. So yeah, Sunny has CCP aegyo but probably not in the way intended.

Dysto, in my experience, will just nit-pick your points until you end up on a significantly different topic or significantly smaller in scope then the original argument. That doesn't make him good at arguing.
