Do you have a pin vice? If you did, get a narrow drill bit, drill it a bit of the way into the broken off piece, and then try to yank it out with that. I wouldn't try the super glue option since there would be too much of a risk of the glue flowing where you don't want it to and instead sealing the bit in the hole. If it goes well, you'll be able to pull the bit out easily without really damaging much, beyond a really tiny hole in the middle of the peg. And then you can reglue the peg to the stand.

I have one, might have to get a narrower drill bit though which, tbh, probably costs as much as a whole set but we'll see.
But yeah I'll try that first. Probably on Sunday so people don't get to see me working on it o/

actually the 1mm drill bit might even be small enough

I think a 1mm drill bit should work, I can't imagine the peg to have been that thin.

When you tried the super glue thing earlier, can you tell if any got on the figure where the peg is? Because if super glue did get on there, you'll have to try your best to get it off so it doesnt hold the broken peg in place

it didn't even stick to the plastic at all even after pushing it together for really long. It probably got on there since I def had it ruin some parts of hair around it but I don't think it got into it because it just wouldn't fit in there?

Honestly I'm a bit skeptical if I'm able to yank it out, with or without glue but I'll just see

If the pin vice alone doesnt work, after you drill the hole, get a paper clip, put super glue on the tip of the paper clip, and shove it into the hole you just drilled. Let the super glue harden, and then pull it out.

Oh yeah, after you drill the hole with the pin vice and put the paper clip in, if its a good snug fit, be sure to tell the anime figure something like "oh you are so tight!" or something

couldn't I just drill holes in both ends, put the paper clip with superglue in there (shortened so that it'll fit) and put it together like that?

I didn't think of that, but you most certainly could. You wouldn't have to pull the broken peg out if you just pin it in place with a paper clip

okay I'll try that if it doesn't come out. I initially tried to get the peg out with a pincer (is that what they're called?) but that didn't work at all because it's stuck in there really hard, even before any superglue got involved.

You can try using modelling putty to try to get the peg out instead of superglue, but at this point you might be spending more money than buying a new model. Btw, if you are planning on inserting papar clips, make sure to get a proper thick rod. Thin ones are just as liable to snap again. Post pics of every part of the process! Good luck!

tried melting it together first. Mostly because while the part that's with the stand does seem to be fairly flat, the part stuck in her hair had a chip in it and ended up uneven. Most likely from my innitial attempt to get it out with a tweezer. So either way I wanted to try and make it flat on both ends.

Machine was on 343°C and letting it cool down to ~160 would have taken at least half an hour so I just yolo'd. It did melt within seconds and I put it together.
Was working somewhat fine but fairly unstable and a small twist made it come off again very easily. Could have supported the weight of her hair standing up but probably not the whole figure.

So on to Plan B:
Drilled a 1mm hole into both ends. That's where I'm at right now. I'll probably get a 1mm nail and put that inbetween (with some glue) rather than paperclips. Seems a bit more sturdy but won't be doing that today.

I heard Ice complain a bit (I think?) that he doesn't really like Enri and the whole focus on the village story in Overlord but for me this was great so far. I really like their story inbetween and ep1-4 have been been really enjoyable for me.

I wouldn't mind more of this and I really wanted to see them eat and discuss the potion together but with the style season3 has done things so far I don't think we're going to get to see that. Also, very good chance the "Enri & Village story" is done for a while now

The enri story sucks because it's volume 8 and volume 8 is just side stories and happens between two big plot volumes
It's fucking annoying getting random ass side stories as a volume when you're excited for the next plot development

I don't really like the arc but each episode still feels like 5 minutes for me. So i still think it's fine. Just compared to what I like about overlord which is a focus on the characters from nazarick, it could be better

1) Why are they surprised Nozomi know how to do a slice? They have 2 prodigies and a supposedly strong player on their team, it's such a standard hit.

2) Why does it take Riko that long to realize you should just play super defensive vs someone with such bad stamina they are known to be tired by second set already.

Mayuri gets no break and okarin should just give up. About as vague as you can get. It's the same story, the characters are just tortured differently.
