When they mentioned Drills, Konata immediately said "Change Getter", and it showed a weird dentist-Getter1/2/3 hybrid. "Change Getter 1/2/3" is what the Getter Robo pilots would yell before they combined into which ever form of robot they were going into. Then, it had something with the dentist-Getter Hybrid punching something from the Dinosaur Empire, who were the bad guys in the original Getter Robo anime. And then, they made a comment about pretty receptionist, and then Konata imaged a scene they very closely resembled the OP from Gunbuster, complete with the receptionist spinning around like Noriko did, with Noriko's exact breast bounce. See how that worked? I made a comment, you made a comment, and we got a discussion out of it. Pretty cool, right? Also, my point is that opinions are fine as long as you aren't trying to shut someone's opinion up. Don't be so elitest. Its not like I made that post saying "OH MY GOD LUCKY STAR IS THE WORST PIECE OF BULLSHIT SHOW EVER, IT LACKS ANY DIRECTION OR FLOW AT ALL, AND ITS DIRECTOR SHOULD BE EXECUTED". | ||

+ Show Spoiler + I mean in the 3rd episode after telling the student counsil member that the untouchable Queen is attacking someone, it just cuts to her over top of her with her weapon looking like she is about to stab her. But in the manga befor the student president gets there she starts pumelling her in the face then drives her weapon into her chest and after the initial screaming the upperclassmen does she drives her weapon even further. Another thing is the manga doesnt rely on their clothes being exterminated like in the anime as much. theres still some of it but their underwear is always still there at least | ||

Shuffle was awful the first 14 episodes. Harem anime always has some retard that is thick-headed and indecisive, that is normally wimpy but somehow acts like a hero when the "important" time comes. I didn't like Seitokai at all. IS is retarded cause the male lead is unbearable, there isn't any variation in their personalities they're all Tsundere. Its almost as bad as sekirei. MSMM is the best anime this season by far, probably. Lucky star was probably one of the better comedies, even though it wasn't that good. Minami-ke is probably the best one, and Hayate is just too long like 50 episodes jeez, it wasn't that good. K-ON was actually good the first season, but then it went downhill from there. | ||

I thought it was absurdly funny, but really made no real sense. The jokes were extremely crude and vulgar, but the child in me could not help but laugh. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + This episode pretended like it wasn't actually a harem! At least until the end. I can't say I care much for Shenlong's design, but I like its fighting style. If only this show had JAM Project music, this episode could have been very good. Next episode I think the Alt's pilot arrives, though my gut tells me we won't see Alt fight next ep  | ||

It's incredible how much worse the anime is in comparison to the manga. Yes, the manga had fanservice, but it's not an overwhelming amount, and it's certainly not the focus of the series. In the anime, however, it's like every single fight scene culminates in some stupid "oops my clothes are ripped" kind of stuff. I still really don't see where the hell this was supposed to go. However, as said by Julian, I wonder if it's really the end of them... I feel bad for that guy who lost his arm. He looks like a nice admiral. I look forward to see more of him in the future. Did Bugdashu actually do anything at all for Yang? I don't know where he is now, but I kind of liked his "I'm gonna assassinate Yang" attitude... I wonder what he's doing... If you guys want me to take a little break so you can catch up, don't hesitate to ask  | ||
