because SYD always has been shit. Sorry to say this. SYD had Uomi carrying the show on her shoulders but nothing really besides that. But it's kinda like Sent said. It's on par with what you'd expect from a show that forces teenagers to wear skinny bodysuits to pilot robots. It's nothing like DxD or TLR unless you're trying the manga. That on the other hand just has random boobs because why not

Uomi was one of the weakest parts of SYD, sorry to say that you're wrong. SYD is great, your taste is shit.

wat, Uomi was literally the only thing good about SYD.
Maybe the add the 10-20second clips in the beginning when they make a quick gag while saying which episode it is. That was also mostly good.

Yeah, this is what I meant. My enjoyment of Franxx will improve considerably if there's some clever justification to the doggystyle poses instead of them being tokenly tacked on. If people here think other anime can also be improved by unexplained plot contrivances consistently putting characters into sexual positions, that's fine, it's just not for me.

You see it's not that I agree she's bad. I just disagree with you that SYD is bad. Then I'm too biased to really say how good a character she is since she's voiced by the Goddess of the Heavens. Do I like her just because it's Saito? Does she stand on her own merits? There's are all questions I don't have the answer to. I do think Shino is amazing though and largely my favorite but when she interacts with Uomi it's adorable too.

So ultimately you forced me into a poor situation through your bad taste. Just get good taste and life will be far more enjoyable. Toad Fighting! You can do it.

SYD was good, or at least, the 6 episode or so I watched from it lol. Shame that I never finished it and can't remember anything about where I stopped or how things developed to continue ;;
