so new episode plot goes on, all fine the usual stuff BUT they fuckin butchered the most awesome scene in the whole freaking manga. Some more talk about politics - namely whether the worst democracy or the best autocracy is preferable. Interesting stuff, considering there's no good answer to that question. Holy shit that's a lot of gore. They even went as far as showing some guy's eyes boiling and bursting. They've had plenty of chances to show us stuff like this, but I guess they wanted to save it for this battle. I haven't seen this much gutting and dismemberment since Gantz. O.o Konev.  I liked him.Dropping Freezing, picking up the manga. It seems better. + Show Spoiler [Yumekui Merry 3] + Practically nothing important happens in this episode, but that okay because Merry's cute. This logic does not apply to Gosick. + Show Spoiler [Fractale] + This show is kinda meh so far. It doesn't help that I find Nessa incredibly annoying. And team rocket is fucking retarded. They make me want to hit something. The premise of the show is interesting, but that's about it. Online readers probably got a C&D, so now you get to learn how much better downloading is. | ||

I jumped all over this like dogs on raw meat, but it turns out its not shoujo ai D: Synopsis: Comedy manga with blue jokes. Naoko-san is an alien from “Yuri Star”. She is plotting to conquer the Earth by Yuri-nization. Misuzu is a junior high girl and is always troubled by Naoko-san, who lives on the roof of her house. From the summary it sorta reminds me of ika musume, DearS, and that other anime where cats were aliens and other shit. forgot the name (it was bad) | ||

Also (51-52) + Show Spoiler + The gore surprised me quite a lot too ><. I was used to see a lot of blood from Shiki, but not falling bowels... In any case, I think we can say that Yang is better than Reinhard at tactics, but that Reinhard is much better at politics/large scale strategy. At least that's what I think so far. | ||

So maybe my mind is like "No, Ferrose, you don't want to watch it today." That way when I finally do watch it, I can actually watch a million eps in a row. Plus, my real life has gotten a lot busier in the last two weeks. But I have nothing to do tomorrow, so I'll be marathoning those eight eps :D | ||

Well, maybe Poplan would be worse, but that's about it. @Ferrose: Just watch it. Some of the episodes leading up to where we are can be slow, but epic stuff awaits. | ||

At least that's what I think so far. + Show Spoiler + You guys haven't watched any of the Movies yet, but in either Movie 1 or 2, after Yang scores one of his early victorys, Trunit is taking to him during a victory celebration or something, and he asks Yang "What the perfect strategy for victory is". Yang says something like "Having 6 times as many troops as your enemy, having your subordinate carry out orders flawlessly, etc", and other stuff like that mocking Trunit's question. I love Yang's sense of humor lol lol found the the exact lines But yeah, I remember things can get pretty brutal in some battles. Like, you expect Brutality when they are fighting with battle axes and stuff, but when it actually shows the people fighting the fleet battles die like that, it really takes you by surprise. One that stands out to me is like, his gut gets spilled open, and the guy is trying to put his insides back in before he dies or something. Pretty bloody stuff sometimes >_> | ||

There's not much information about this project, but BONES is an awesome studio with stuff like Eureka 7 and Xam'd under their belt. Can't wait to see how it turns out. In other news, Kara no Kyoukai and FLCL blurays come out February 8. | ||

Toshihiro Kawamoto (Gundam 0083, Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain) is designing the characters and overseeing the animation process. Yutaka Izubuchi (Gundam: Char's Counterattack, Gundam 0080, Patlabor) is credited for the concept designs, while his frequent collaborator Shingo Takeba (Gasaraki, RahXephon, Patlabor WXIII) is also credited for "design works." | ||
