I am enjoying them very much. If you like twists in a fantasy adventure story then its a good read.
Edit: After the struggle of getting FGO I realized that there is a newer android tablet here and that it was super easy to get on it --; Oh well 2 accounts means double the servants!~

oh crap, the nisemontagori mc isnt the courage to tell a lie gril -__- my life has been a lie edit oh she is listed as mc for 2 other series tho, even better :D + Show Spoiler +
|
wat?
The series is called Monogatari. Has a bunch to it.
OH, you watched Nisemonogatari expecting her to be MC? The male guy in the video is the MC and you should be starting with Bakemonogatari if you actually want to watch it. You won't understand shit without that. After that comes Nisemonogatari -> Nekomongatari -> Monogatari series 2nd season -> Hanamonogatari -> Tsukimonogatari -> Owarimonogatari if I'm not horribly mistaken due to sleep deprivation

tnx yeah i dled nise then bake and havent watched either yet, was just reading the youtube comments and saw people saying she was a dif voice actor to the one i had looked up, so i spent the past few days looking forward to seeing her mc in nise but now i see she mcs in bake and 2nd anyway :D yeah i cant fuckin sleep for shit its 8am and i had like 3 hours in 2 nights now (been moving houses, wedding, hungover as shit which gives me crazy nightmares and i cant ever slep)

Technically speaking, it depends on if you want to watch it in story chronological order or not, although the seasons move around a bit so it's kindof iffy.
For example, Nekomonogatari (Kuro) is chronologically the first story, but that came out after Bakemonogatari and (I think) before Nisemonogatari. Even in the novels the stories aren't necessarily chronological, though.
I personally would watch Nekomonogatari (Kuro) first, then Bakemonogatari, then Nisemonogatari, then Monogatari (the second full series), then Tsukimonogatari. (Hanamonogatari is I think technically the last part of the second season.)
Also, the MC in all the Monogatari is Araragi Koyomi - Hachikuji Mayoi is one of the many not quite main characters and some people might even say she's not as big a part of the whole series as Hanekawa Tsubasa or Senjougahara Hitage.
Also, a recommendation on viewing it - don't worry too much about the many many words in the rapid cut text sequences. They're helpful, but not necessary to understanding the story as they're mostly just parts of the LN on the screen.
I umm... like the Monogatari series a bit.

lol i just like that gril oh really ok maybe ill follow your order. i watched ep1 and a random clip a while ago and dont think i like it that much but the art was so cool and i left it as revisitable , which is now a word + Show Spoiler +version without the a-a-a-a intro repeated
|
Bakemonogatari is the series that introduces the characters though. I'd certainly start with Bake no matter what even if you're not a fan of broadcast orders for anime
I can see how rewatching it in chronological order would have it's merit but really, I'd just stick with normal order for first watch. There's a reason they published it that way (except for Kizu...)
|
There is that, but Nekomonogatari doesn't really utilize all of the other characters. And Shinobu isn't really introduced until later in Bakemonogatari, outside of the introductory flashbacks to what should be in Kizu, I think.
Either way works, except for the differences between what is shown in flashbacks in Bakemonogatari and in Nekomonogatari.
The artwork is good, and there's some lovely Shaft head tilting. I think the way it's published is primarily based on the novel order. The dialogue throughout the series is great, even if all of the language puns don't translate well.

Says Mr. Lolicon himself. You can't just play the "I only like loli Shinobu not other lolis" card. You merely lying to yourself. Just remember the wise words I told you earlier today and you'll be fine.+ Show Spoiler +I'm hyped, my body is ready.
@Monogatari - Watch it broadcast order. Don't change shit around just because you feel like it wtf.
|
I tried switching the order of which arc i watched around when i watched monogatari s2. I do not recommend.
Numy is right. Watch it in the order they intended for the viewers to watch.

I kind of agree. I watched Bake and Nise and I don't find the show as good as some of you think =/

Thanks for the input. Truly an immeasurable contribution to the discussion at hand.
In other news I'm up to 5-B in OwC. Felt 4 was a bit average. It had some nice Shinjou moments but I wasn't too fond of all the air dragon combat. Maybe if it was animated it would be way cooler. Overall enjoying the series quite a bit and haven't found it any more confusing than Horizon. In fact it seems far more straight forward than Horizon. There's also more incredibly lewd scenes so confused why it didn't get animated instead of horizon. I can just imagine Shinjou stealing the hearts of all.

You are not 100% wrong. But I think it's a niche show so everyone's mileage varies.

I really don't see how one of the best selling anime of all time is niche, unless you mean in the sense that anime itself is niche.

Niche show is something you don't like but lots of other people like.
