HanaKana is probably 110% why I still watch Dandelion. I originally watched it because of all the voice talent in the rest of the family though. I've thought about Ushio & Tora, I heard good things, and also has mikakoshi iirc. Maybe I'll check it out. | ||

It doesn't sound like you have fun watching them God eater is pretty terrible imo. Unless you like scifi monster hunter or something. I wouldn't rate gakkou gurashi low but i can see how it isn't a very exciting or fast paced show. Rokka is also a very slow show (probably covering only 1.5 volumes) and it's more mystery than action. | ||

Arslan Classroom Crisis Daiya Durarara Fate/Kaleid Gakkou Gurashi Gangsta. Kekkai Sensen (heh) NNB Overlord Imas CG Arslan is so boring right now. + Show Spoiler + The entire Sindhura arc has been laughable. They just breeze through entire armies like it's nothing. Hell, even in the climactic battle, apparently Narsus had enough foresight that he was able to dictate the battlefield, construct a bunch of ballistas in a key position, and hide the entire fucking army from his ally. Somehow this comes off as more absurd than the man-beast thing Daryun fought, especially considering that magic is a thing. Narsus needs a suitable rival or something, and Hermes doesn't count. I'm still waiting for Daryun to die for plot purposes, as it stands. Classroom Crisis is still pretty okay. I could do without the whole corporate corruption bit, but whatever. Not that it really applies to the current arc, but one thing I really appreciate about Daiya is how the games play out. The key moment of each match is not necessarily at the end, and the mangaka isn't shy about going "the team fell apart after that, and the conclusion was inevitable". Contrast this with Kuroko no Basket, where it feels like every game ends with some buzzer beater miracle shot, tipping the 1 point difference in some team's favor. It's a minor detail in presentation, but it goes a long way to making the end result feel a lot less contrived. Durarara actually has me pretty excited with the current character groupings. Lolis pls. Based shota where. Gakkou Gurashi is still my favorite show this season. The direction so far has been pretty darn good. + Show Spoiler + Surviving the zombie apocalypse requires guts, and Kurumi has it in spades. Gangsta. continues to be mediocre. I'm not sold on the whole Twilight business. I also couldn't give a shit about Alex and her problems. The fight last ep was pretty good at least. + Show Spoiler [NNB] + But where is the OVA continuation? Natsumi a shit. Overlord has been enjoyable. Maybe now that the action's started, we'll get fewer poorly presented monologues. Cinderella Girls is kinda meh. It still lacks an episode that rivals that the craziness the original Imas got away with (Namassuka eps being the gold standard). | ||
