I'd recommend Darker than Black if you want something with action. Skip the second season though, it's pretty lame imo; it gets a lot of hate for its ending and a bunch of other changes they made from the first season. The OVAs are good though and bridge between the two seasons. Personally I liked the second season. The first season and the OVAs were better, but I still think it was good, and I wouldn't want to stop watching at the point where the OVAs end. Madoka is really good so far, but the universe is so loosely explained. Even the artwork abstracts everything about the world around them and makes all the action character and relationship centric. Not used to it, but I think I like it. Madoka was good, prob an 8/10 for me. It doesn't get that good until the 3rd episode but after that it's great. By the way, how is Shakugan no Shana as a whole? I just started watching, and so far I like it. First season was good. Second season dragged on too long with one arc and made it into just a retarded high school romance/comedy. It only got good near the last 6 episodes. They ended it with an anime original end. Third season retconned the second's ending, completely ignoring it ever happened. Gah, that sounds annoying. What should I do? Watch it anyway? Skip the parts that got retconned?
I'm fine with a lot of things, but I can't stand retcons...

Any idea of when it happens? So that I can watch as much as possible without the retconned content.
Edit: well, I should learn to remember what I just read when I post. So, it's the ending. But I'd still like to know that it happens in episode x, so I can avoid watching that... heh.

Also Brtarolg sorry but I think you were asleep when people randomly started talking about RA2, we got the bright idea to play it, and then everyone on #tladt bandwagoned on. Rest assured that Nagisama and myself at least won't be playing it ever again. At least not with that scumbag Carnivorous Sheep.
We'll be practicing BW tonight so if you or anyone else wants to play come on #tladt and let us know.

Finally watched Jormungand.
My first impression upon seeing Koko's character design made me expect a Balalaika-type voice from her, and it felt weird in the beginning hearing Shizuka Itou's voice. However, after watching the rest of the episode, it turned out fittingly well.

All I can say about Jormungand at this point is that the sleepwalking/rolling on table thing was funny, hah.
