Whereas Yuno was legitimately unsettling at times, Rin just seems remotely crazy and out for revenge. Part of what made Mirai Nikki work was that Yuki needed Yuno's help in order to succeed despite him being aware of her potentially dangerous instability. With Big Order, Eiji keeping Rin around isn't really a necessity, seeing as he's half competent. So we basically chalk this up to him being dumb. Disappointing, really. | ||
