If GC has taught me anything, its that I shouldnt go into an anime with high expectations. The hype for that anime was so huge, that I was kinda in denial when they started killing off my favorite characters. I was hoping that it was all for good reason, but I was wrong =/
w/e. Time to start the hype for Accel World. Sunrise studios is doing that anime, same ones that did Code Geass, hell yes! HYPE HYPE HYPE!!!
In b4 Eca/Sent headdesk. (unless it happened already)
It happens so often that it's kinda cheap to call it. You know it's gonna happen no matter what he posts. ^_^

Lol, I thought that anything with fanservice would satisfy your desires, based on some of your previous posts.

So you haven't learned after all. BTW, hyping anything from a web novelist is dangerous
Maybe they'll only animate vol 1 of SAO and call it a day and never touch the pos known as Accel World.
Well, if nothing else, Accel World has potential for decent action scenes.

The episode was going so amazing, I was having nerd chills and shit.
Then the ending... WHAT?!!! WHJATTTTTTTTTT?!!!!!
Welcome to the manga readers about 2-3 months ago. Power of friendship doesn't save you against everything. Too bad the preview ruins any suspense/surprise.

Can you plz explain to me, without spoilering too much, what exactly is fillers and what is from the original manga story?
Basically, what I got so far: they dissapear after acnologia blasts them away. 7 years later, no one has heard from them yet, so now theyer focused on maccao's kid? what... the... fuck?
what exactly did the manga readers react to at the end of the arc? was it the time skip and starting over with maccao's kid? or was it something else that they didnt reveal in the anime yet?

Filler arcs are exactly what it sounds like. It's anime original shit that fills in the timeslot while the anime is airing, to give manga time to go further ahead. So the anime will actually have more material to go off of.\
The manga chapter just stopped right after saying 7 years past. No hints whatsoever whether or not they actually lived or died. People were arguing pondering whether or not mangaka had the balls to just straight up kill the cast, etc etc. The week after didn't really say much either. But then + Show Spoiler +
Not sure how I feel about them doing a "time skip" of 7 years. Last time they did something even remotely ridiculous as this was when they made Lisanna dissapear for 2 years. That one was borderline acceptable. Idk if this is. = /
And to top things off, Mavis took their bonds of friendship and turned it into magical power to pull off this extraordinary feat... Okay, power of friendship OP.
But still, Im very happy that the entire cast didnt get killed off. Now I know what everyone was being so bent up about a couple months ago in the manga.
But man, everyone else aged 7 years. I guess it kinda makes sense now, why the author had all the lead characters gathered up on the island. But that means the rest of the world aged 7 years, 7 YEARS. What do they have to say about Jellal? Or the dragons? Or Makarov's son? Everything else was moving forward, while they stood still.. = /

It's more like a select few actually thought some of the cast would die, and the rest of us repeatedly told them no.
And yeah, most people thought the timeskip itself was expected (though I didn't). However most didn't expect it to be 7 years, and to randomly focus on someone else at first.

pretty much what happens is fairy tail is weak as balls, and they go through a "training" arc that consists of them eating beans or some shit to become as strong as everyone else at the time

V5 and V6. But I'm not even sure if they can reach GGO by 12 episodes.

If they had killed of the whole cast then the anime would be kinda dead. I imagined it going through with romeo and the rest as main characters and couldn't help but be extremely bored with the idea lol.
Next episode will problaby be them stomping on that twilight ogre guild, then I have no idea what they're going to do. Their whole guild is basically gone in status.
