Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Ookami-San, Ouran High School Host Club, Haruhi, Angel Beats. Plenty of stuff with good female leads. Avoid school days too, lol.

Looks to me that it got chopped by publishers, sad story.

So one more episode to Another, they threw the major changes to book like I figured they would, but execution is so bad, sigh. PA Works destroying everything that I love.

Does it get worse later on, or? I recall some real hate about it some months back. I'll probs keep on watching regardless but simply curious (without spoiling it obv.) I thought it got better later on. Not sure what the hate was, or if there was any hate at all.

Ookami felt like a mediocre tsundere female lead to me. The male lead was annoying, has a phobia of being stared at. -___- Ringo made that series entertaining.

One does not simply listen anime reviews or opinions. Seriously you are gonna otherwise miss so much stuff you enjoy and love. Good method is when looking new anime to just go a site like myanimelist and scroll from top1 anime to lower and lower ranked ones until you hit something that's interesting. Myself I was about to drop mirai nikki because I just couldnt get hold on it and stuff was yeah, understandable to some degree but something was off. I read some of the manga and now I am really loving that story. I like the audiovisuals too.
+ Show Spoiler [possible_spoil] +the moment when you realise what the ending of mirai nikki is about <3 :D

I hope the show ends with them showing the movie at school festival/whatever and Lemon ends up replacing the film they all acted in with her documentary. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if this is her plan all along.

Only hate for Mirai Nikki is Yuki being a useless crybaby for the majority of the show, which does get incredibly annoying. That and the manga ending. Anime will probably adapt it despite it being so random since it's followed the manga very closely this entire time.
LOL Another 11 was pretty comical due to how poorly executed it was.

I have finished Legend of the Galactic Heroes. I probably won't watch the Side Stories, but LoGH is probably the best anime I have ever seen. Even though it's not my favorite (it's up there though, believe me) I would recommend LoGH to everyone. Sure, maybe the animations aren't top tier, but you'll soon get used to them and be wrapped up in LoGH's story. I think the 110 episodes was worth it. I think I'm going to take a break from anime though, too much epicness. + Show Spoiler +Even though the ending wasn't as complete as I wished it to be, it still was nicely done since the Julian and the republicans have hope. The death of Oberstein also allows post-Reinhard politics to transition smoothly without the admirals ganging up on him. Reinhards death was a little dissapointing, but seemingly majestic at the same time. I'm sincerely surprised that more people don't know about this anime.

+ Show Spoiler [Another - 11] +Who is dead? Just about everybody if this keeps up. Lots of gruesome deaths in this episode. Seriously, what the hell is going on? So they play the tape and cite Mei's eye as proof enough that she's the extra. I know that they want to end the calamity but that's all it takes to persuade them? Really? I understand that everyone's irrational after the contents of the tape is disclosed and that they want to end it asap but think about it a little bit. Besides that you have the fire/explosion, the inn's caretakers, the missing Kazami, the stabbed Maejima, the list goes on. WTF?
Mei seems to be taking things into her own hands now. I've ruled out Akazawa as the extra because Mei could've killed her at the end of the episode and we'd be done with it. But her vow of revenge for Takako pretty much has me thinking that she'll die anyway.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! LoGH is a master piece that requires a real man to watch it.
IMO, even if you do take a break, eventually it would be good to watch the side stories. IIRC you asked about ground combat and stuff when you were watching it, right? Or was that someone else..? Anyway, the Gaidens have plenty of land combat with tanks and infantry. Together thats another 50 episodes to get to, but its worth it.

Yeah, I did ask for land warfare. But I think I've watched enough anime the past few weeks too satisfy my appetite for a few months. Maybe I will watch the Gaidens though...in the future.

Another 11, final laugh + Show Spoiler +Well, that was quite a fun episode. Lots of murders going on here. Little information, sadly. If it had not been the next to last episode I probably would not have written anything (just like the beach episode).
I'm glad I was right about the fire, though it was pretty easy to guess considering the huge amount of foreshadowing in the first episode. Still, it would not have been guessable from watching episode 1 only once.
Considering that Akazawa received close to no background this episode, I have no choice but to discount her. There is just no evidence except the hand feeling bullshit, and that's not a piece of evidence, it's either foreshadowing or trolling.
Now let's discuss other things. The crazy bitch claimed that she was with the other Misaki in elementary school and she didn't have an eyepatch, but that the new Misaki has an eye patch, and so it cannot be the same, thus she's dead. Clearly the official answer that we are supposed to come up ourselves is that they're the two sisters and she's just confusing them both. This gives us an undeniable proof that Misaki's sister truly existed. It does not mean, however, that Misaki did not replace her anyway. As I said last week, the curse needs to change facts as well as memory.
There's another thing that annoy me, and it's that no one seem to be aware that Misaki's sister died. Of course, it's possible that the town is too large for that, but with everyone around you dying, you would probably try to investigate a bit about the deaths happening in town. This is not a piece of evidence towards anything, just a thought.
At the end of the episode, we see Misaki climbing up the stairs, as if she had business there. In the preview, we see her going down other stairs with Akazawa. It is clear that Akazawa will pursue her, but it still unknown what Misaki is trying to do up there. That is quite an annoying cliffhanger but I'm pretty sure where she is going is very minor. She might just be going up to go down from somewhere else because damn Akazawa is blocking the way. In any cases, I'm wasting my time on this paragraph.
In the end, both Misaki being dead or Misaki not being dead are still very valid theories, but since there is just so much more stuff on Misaki than there is on anyone else that is not the main character (which has been completely forgotten from the show, I actually very much enjoyed the calls with his father because I trust someone who is not in the city to be telling the truth). My guess for this week is still then on Misaki, and I'm prepared to be wrong. If I'm wrong, then too bad I guess. I at least very much enjoyed trying to figure that one out, and I appreciated this show.

I think I'll be the only one laughing at the end, not counting the ones who gave up and spoiled themselves/got spoiled because 4chan sucks. This was just so bad.
Thratur, I can't recall clearly, but the pool that the other is drawn from should've been explained properly. I am simply too lazy to doublecheck at this point. At any rate, if it was, then go think about it.

So I guess just any show with a strong female lead + not pussy male lead?
- Special A - Fruits Basket (probably qualifies) - Kaichou wa maid-sama - Haruhi - Ouran High School Host Club - School Rumble - Shugo Chara
- Ga-Rei Zero - Grenadier - Needless (Eve is kind of the main character in a way) - Scrapped Princess (you may or may not actually consider her to be a strong lead. At the very least I thought she was fitting for her role)
Top ones are more comedy/romance, bottom are more action/adventure.
