As for un-navigational space, I assume thats because of alot of stars in close promity, and things like nebulas and such. Tis a Spazer-question IMO.
Unnavigable space is magic.
Defense against an attacker in deep space is essentially impossible. Unless your ships are really fast and have godlike detection abilities, 99% of the time, your defense will simply be bypassed because space is huge. Thus the only effective defense is planetary defense, but when your government spans across systems, defending every planet isn't really an option. LoGH circumvents this issue with unnavigable space. Take the Phezzan and Iserlohn corridors, for instance. The entire purpose of having those two corridors (story-wise, I mean) is to make those locations strategic points, thus ensuring that there is always a place important enough for the two sides to battle over.

All the old Digimon Leaders and many of their companions finally make a return in the latest episode of Xros Wars.
That was pretty awesome. I've been a fan of digimon since the 1st series when I was a kid and it was nice to see every leader pokemon there :p S1 and Savers/Tamers FTW ^_^
Rant probably days late but short hair. WHY WHY WHY. Why does the MC has to have some shitty fetish anyway. If Shinobu ever follows suit (with the short hair) then brining the pitchforks will be neccessary.

So the purpose of Kadingir is to use a drill cannon to pierce the heavens moon? In all seriousness, Fine's using the cannon as some sort of revenge against some god? I felt that was just so random. The Commander is frickin badass. It's too bad he got beaten so easily from a simple mindfuck. And I thought Chris would've been vaporized by the cannon. The fact that she's falling to the ground may mean that the swan song didn't end her...? I hope it doesn't. Possibly happy end with Hibiki and Miku at least? I like her more than Tsubasa and definitely more than Hibiki. I will be surprised if Tsubasa and Hibiki don't use their swan songs in the upcoming episodes.
