the new season of Koizumi is just not that exciting. World vs Hitler was awesome but now it's stupid Japanese inner delegation crap. The series should've just ended with Koizumi killing Hitler, then dies Bush, Putin, and Yulia surviving.
RIP Koizumi,Pope, Papa Bush, American Secretary of Defense
Hell Pope vs Hitler was probably the best part in the series.
Well he has to build up to something new since he can't just use the novelty of MANLY WORLD LEADERS PLAYING MAHJONG anymore.
Putin, Yulia, Bush Jr. still alive. besides the series should've ended with Super Aryan Hitler dead. At End the series =/ If he wanted to continue, sure topping fighting vs Space Nazis is hard but there is enough to make fun of in the political world than what they are having now for chapters.
I guess the mangaka figured parodying local politics would sell better lol, plus the magazine readership tends to be more right-wing like the rest of the Japanese internet if I remember right. Once they've finished the current arc I assume they'll finally move on to 'international-class mahjong' Also, the airborne guy is a badass.
As long as they bring Isolde back some how and make her like Super Aryan 4 and then The Jap army guys take her on in Mahjong along with a Asimo 2.0
Dunno, I think the mangaka might be going back to his roots parodying politics which isn't an entirely bad thing. The whole space nazi thing was hilariously epic but it's settled and done and continuing it would be jumping the shark I think. I'd expect some sort of 'international-class mahjong' over some sort of issue that requires Koizumi's power.
Aaaand there we go trainwreck resumed. Even when utsumi grows balls and mans up things still stay the same, poor guy can't catch a break lol...
Well Isolde survived with a bunch of space nazis, might as well use them as a part of the story at some point but seriously. Moar Yulia plz, who doesn't love a 2 faced natural gas steal witch that puts on a cute face? Uranium Tiles are the best
Frankly they have a lot of good stuff to use for the international front given the last couple of years for the world. The fact that they started using Hatoyama (roflmao the depiction) also gives them that 2009~2012+ period to use. So after the current Japanese politics stuff they can easily go into the international front. I mean that they are using Hatoyama probably means there will be plenty of good juicy situations to abuse and parody.
I personally hope the space nazis return only to end the second run, but before they come in, there are just too much that could be done from the events of recent years to pass up.

zz go ask for moe from other places, don't ruin my shounen mahjong parody. The skirt was about enough in terms of fanservice needed in koizumi.

No shit. They haven't ran out of people to use yet though tbh, either way the nazis went off with entire ships so they can throw people at us no problem.

Is Beezlebub shounen? Only reason I enjoy Fairy Tail so much is because thats my shounen fix.
Last time I checked Beezlebub was a comedy about some demon baby boy, and a hot maidu VA'd by Itou Shizuka.
It's not really shounen....
Hey, if K-On! gets to be seinin, then Beezlebub gets to be shounen. I still don't know why people are hung up on whether a show is "shounen" or not, like they are too proud to enjoy a show thats "shounen".
That's not why I said it's not really shounen at all lol. Emnjay asked if Beezlebub was shounen, then said he liked Fairy Tail because it was a shounen. Since I don't think Beezlebub is all to similar to Fairy Tail, and since Fairy Tail has a large shounen feel to it, I said Beelzebub is not really a shounen.
You can call it a shounen if you want, but it seems more like a comedy show with some fighting mixed in than a shounen to me.

Toriko is closest to dragon ball and thus the most shounen of them all!
also shounen can be just about any genre except flat out sex and gore maybe, there is no less or more shounen, just less or more action, comedy, romance, bromance, adventure, craziness, keikaku etc... that is like arguing which one of star wars and star trek is more scifi <.<

Amusingly and maybe annoyingly this kind of has a reasonably clear cut answer at least to me. Star wars has a hell of alot more fantasy (argued by some people it's not scifi at all...), or to put it another way what science? While star trek at least tries to include some.
Of the two I'd say I prefer star wars have read a ton of the EU books.
To quote Sir Arthur Clarke, any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. The distinction between fantasy and sci fi is rather weak in that sense, but to call the inclusion of fake science a criteria for science fiction isn't much better to me. You could argue that there are a lot more fantasy elements included, but that doesn't make the fictional technology in it any less sci fi. What science indeed? They are both bullshit science far as we are concerned. Overall Star Wars still is a lot more fantasy than scifi simply because of how the elements that matter are mostly fantasy in nature, with the technology taking backseat, but that's a whole different point.
Beezlebub is still considered shounen, just focused on a bit different things than more stereotypical shounen like Fairy Tail. Not sure why this argument even came up. Don't really want to get into the whole classification vs magazine publishing work but, seriously, if it is in weekly jump then it is shounen. Let's not make it more complicated than it needs to be.
Man, fuck this show. I thought it started out pretty interestingly but then took a huge faceplant and went to shit. Pretty much no character did anything rational and everyone must have had a lobotomy recently. One character that pissed me off especially was Ringo. She entered and wrecked the lives of the two main characters, and none of them actually curb-stomped her and threw her out. Seriously? Maybe I'm too much of a cynic to enjoy a series about fate, but this was one of the worst anime-viewing experiences I've had.
Then again, maybe I was destined to watch this crap so I could finally give up on anime, which seems to be on the decline recently, with all the fucking moeblob crap nowadays.

Stay classy.

Classifications of "Shounen" and "Seinen" and the like are the single most useless and pointless classifications in all anime/manga. They don't mean shit about what anime is about, what its alike, what elements are in it, etc etc. All it refers to is who its marketed towards, aka what its serialed in. Fairy Tail and Beezlebub are both Shounen Jump, therefore they are Shounen. That is ALL it refers to. Thus, thats why K-On is considered Seinen. Its serialized in a Seinen magazine. And can any of you say with a straight face that Berserk and K-On are alike? But both are Seinen.
Basically, using terms like "shounen" to refer to elements of a show's plot or execution is meaningless, since all such terms just refer to who its marketed towards, and nothing else.

This argument seems to come up every now and then because the intellectuals wish to appropriately categorize everything into a single genre because nothing has overlapping genres or anything. It's not like something can be comedy AND shounen or anything. Nope. Or romance and drama WTF how can people think a show can be both? It's clear that Fairy Tail is the basis of all shounen and anything less shounen is actually shoujo because if guys don't like it, it must be for girls. Of course, it therefore follows that anything more shounen is seinen; but then if it's less seinen than standard but still more shounen, it's josei, very complicated huh? This advanced genre categorization is only for intellectuals though and used by those who realize Death Note and Code Geass are the best anime ever.
