Holy shit VIZ media shuts down mangastream!!!@ The only site that doesnt archive and always tell us to support the official releases. How this makes sense??? Why dont you go against MF, MH, MR and all those sites instead ???
Just out of curiosity I was wondering what sites you manga reading ppl use
I think I got the most popular manga sites on my poll and I'm not including Mangastream because anyone that read Jump manga uses MS and its probably dead anyway now so ....
As for me I was using Batoto and Mangastream till now. Thespectrum in the past for my seinen manga which wasnt available on the popular ones.
Batoto its the BEST site for reading manga right now because its releasing the fastest and got HQ pages if you compare it to MF,MR,MH and respecting the policies of the scanlation groups 100%. I dont see any reason why I would pick anything else for my main source of manga.
Trying to avoid MF and MH because I read somewhere that they are the evil empire of manga "stealers" that are using everyone and not respecting the scanlation groups wishes

Damn you Shear, what episode/arc are you talking about? I wanna click on that spoiler tag, but Im only caught up to ep 100.
Episode 117, I was laughing so hard when it happen cause I didnt believe it but it seem like it did happen. Hahaha I guess there a first time for everything. I definitely did not see this coming.
Where do you get your subbed eps? Usually I get them from kyuubi, they're really good quality but he takes a week+ to translate usually.
Horriblesubs/Crunchyroll.
I think Crunchy does a really good job with subs for Fairy Tail. Never really tried other subbers, and I really dont think it would matter that much?
Mangareader because I'm lazy and can't be arsed to visit 5 scanlation sites a week. Only scanlation site I visit is RedHawkScans and that's because I read like 3-5 of their works. Used to visit mangastream but then it fell off my 8 most visited tabs and I stopped.
subbed episodes directly from subbers or nyaa.eu. Older from BakaBT

I dl'ed a horriblesubs episode once and alot of lines weren't translated aswell as most lines being off, they would appear so fast I couldn't even read them.

Only time I have trouble reading subs is when I get distracted by "Nice body Lucy!"

It sucks Mangastream stopped subbing Jump stuff, but like I was saying, One Piece is so popular that I don't think there is going to be a problem with finding a new group who does scanlations in a timely manner. Same with Naruto and Bleach, if you are into those.

Just out of pure curiosity, what show/episode was it.
Am I the only one who really, really hopes the MC gets his ass kicked soon, and justifiably so? At least there'll finally be some conflict that actually makes sense and not cliche romcom bullshit.
I'm surprised it took this long for a harem anime to get to the obligatory hot springs episode. Tabitha and Henrietta are basically throwing themselves at Saito and he still chooses Louise. I'm dumbfounded. I can't be the only one that thinks Saito is better off with Siesta, Tifa, Tabitha, or Henrietta than Louise. Louise just irritates me to no end. Her act of blowing up Saito over his actions with the other girls has grown incredibly tired over the length of the series.
Lol that was more like 10-11 years ago instead of 5-7.
I remember that airing when I first came to the US which was 11 years ago lol.
It probably came out a little later in my country ^^ Still this show is pretty good!
Pretty much everyone has fond memories of Wing when it originally came out, or originally aired in the West. Was my first Gundam anime, and pretty much everyone at my school loved that show even more than DBZ. Whether or not its aged well is a different question lol

lol i should of figured. Gundam Wing is for many in the USA, the gateway to mecha anime imo or anime in general. It was because of that show that I started to like anime. Dragon Ball series was good too but the drawing wasnt really "anime"-ish by today standard so it was more like cartoon/anime hybrid.
I like the series, the only problem is that they made the gundam too powerful. I would say it similar to Gundam 00 but 00 gundam were explained to be super advance technology from anything the earth had so in a way it made sense. Also, the pilots in 00 were pretty noobish so it equalized out their OP gundam. While the Gundam wings, the pilots were OP and the gundam were OP.

The drawing and animation for the anime is still pretty good. But watching it again a few years ago, I noticed that many of the fight scenes were jut repeated over and over which I find kinda funny that I never noticed it when I first watched it or I didnt care. Either way, I think it still pretty good but maybe that just the nostalgia talking.

In Gundam 00, the Gundams were only stronger than everything else by a wide margin in the beginning. Later on, their advantage was negated, forcing them to rely on plot hax.
Art wasn't as much of an issue in Wing, other than it makes tons of use of stock footage. I'm more referring to the plot and characters. As a 13 year old I enjoyed it, but now? Not really lol.
Also, anime are cartoons. Anime is just what we call cartoons in japan. The japanese call American cartoons 'anime' as well, so its kinda silly to make a distinction between the two, like they are two completely different things.
I swear, I am seeing a Shirou in Hibiki... both saved years ago by after person... both wanted to help other people because of the near-death experience.

Yah, I think I totally know what you mean. When I watched it a few years ago, it was definitely the nostalgia. You cant really expect a deep plot since back then since it was aired on toonami and most people that watch toonami were kids. Doubt little kids like us would of understand or cared as much as we would of had now so their effort would of been wasted. To make up for this, they need more pew pew which in the end worked.
Ya, I know anime/cartoon are the same thing but considering that most of us that are talking about the gundam are from the USA, it wouldnt matter much so I didnt care to go to detail :p
