Although they were grunts, dd was targeting marines. If he was 100% allied with the marines, there would be no need to 'possess' marines and let them kill random stuff (probably their comrades, else the marines woudln't say 'stay away from me'). I don't know how their relation really is, but i don't thinks it's as clear cut as you say. edit: post was @ killa_robot @ blackmagister: true, i misread the page before that one, and as a consequence thought it was translated in a weird way. You're right, although it doesnt really change my point. Allies forcing eachother to attack the people they try to protect aren't really allies in my book. | ||

It seems like an extreme case to keep his word. Even VA Bastille is surprised that they aren't going to attack DD. I assume Fujitora will flip around eventually, I'm just wondering what it will take for that to happen. His original justification for helping DD was to protect the people and that's no longer a valid justification. | ||

Well, lets be honest, the word 'infintely' is a hyperbole. But I understand your point as he does seem significantly stronger than other Shichibukai. I think he seems really strong for four reasons: 1) Individually he is, 2) He has a strong crew, 3) he is a King and 4) He is a noble. 1) Bird cage, beating Law, dominating Oars, playing with others in the Marineford battle, etc. Calculating and smart, etc. He is the most trusted broker in the black market. Even when he is mean to his subordinates they still want to serve him (re: Bellamy). All his subordinates are really loyal. 2) I would say that Law was offered the Heart seat on his crew. I would also put his other Executives at a Supernova level. CC is a 300million loyal subordinate. He had a loyal VA, Vergo. He has two DF users that can turn enemies into art or toys. 3) He has all the power/influcence that a Kingdom has in the new world, which helps him in his black market trading 4) He has the backing of the government and is a Shichibukai; and thus has much more freedom No compare that to 1) Mihawk (no known crew, no kingdom/noble) 2) Kuma (no known crew, no kingdom/noble) 3) Boa Hancock (crew can use haki, but no known OP DF abilities, not a noble) 4) Buggy (strong crew, weak individually last time we saw him, no known kingdom, not a noble afaik) 5) Unknown Shichabukai (can't compare him to someone who I don't know) 6) Law (former Shichabukai) - (relatively strong crew, no kingdom, no royal blood, not as strong as Doflamingo) | ||
