There is a popular theory speculating that in the SH vs BB fight, Franky will turn the Sunny into a giant Mecha Warrior wich will fight Sanjuan "The Battleship" Wolf. If you look at some of Odas early sketchbooks, it is obvious that he really likes to draw big gundam/transformer-esque robots. Add the fact that the SHs do consider Sunny to be a Nakama just like they did with Merry. Back around skypeia arc Oda even announced at a Jump convention that a Mugiwara Crewmember would die in the near future, wich turned out to be Merry. The whole Klabbauterman thing with Merry saving the Strawhats in Enies Lobby also strongly suggests that some ships in one piece are more than just Transportation Vessels, and i would be surprised if we did not see more of this theme throught the series. | ||

Chopper: Apotechary, helping him grow new potent healing herbs. Nami: Help her grow more and tastier Oranges. Sanji: Grow spices and healthy fruits and vegetables to improve his cooking. Usopp: Grow Tatababasco stars for him to sling at his foes! But the problem is finding a dwarf with a distinguished personality who isnt too naive, that personality quirk is not unique amongst the ranks of the strawhats (but again, we already have three perverts so...) | ||
