Based on this, i believe that Luffy and Zoro will be on par with Doflamingos Elite Officers at best. If either Luffy or Zoro starts beating up people at Doflamingo level already, i doubt that there will be enough worthy opponants for another 16 years of One Piece.

Dofla is just a Shichibukai hes not the end all be all, there still the 4 yonkou, there commanders, the 3 admirals and mamga guy
then theres whatever dangers await on Raftel
and even if they do beat Dofla here doesnt mean he cant improve and come back stronger

At any rate, i think it is safe to say that Doflamingos crew is head and shoulders above Crocodiles crew.

Like nothing has happened in terms of fighting. Law getting rekt by everyone and a little of DD trolling Sanji is all that has happened from DD or his crew. All we know about DD from this arc is that when Law pissed him off he got totally owned. DD we know is a bigshot but we haven't seen anything of his crew really. The fighting is yet to have begun. We saw a little about the art chick but that cant be classed as fighting.

Potential plot hole/stupidity: Dwarves know about Sugar's toy power. They see a bunch of toys come out of nowhere where there was only their own before. They assume it's random enemies, but they know that they'll forget whoever that's turned into toys. They should still know that any toys are potentially allies they've just forgotten.

Why didn't they just continue with the original plan of sneaking the tabasco grape? They abandoned that plan after the fly was shot and Robin realized that that would just happen again but with the dwarfs.
No, they lured Trebol away because of that. Then they somehow just charged right in instead of executing the plan without Trebol in their way. Either a plothole by Oda or the dwarves have bouts of stupidity (most likely the latter, considering how naive they are).

No I am saying that Law lost to DD with an Admiral and again without an Admiral. Law even said he doesn't think hes capable of defeating DD. Sanji just got rekt by DD without even fazing him in the slightest. Sanji and Law both lost to DD fair and square. Give Sanji information before hand and he still loses. I don't see how you could attempt to argue these facts tbh. DD beats Law and Sanji every time from what we have been shown.

Sanji didnt know what DDs fruit could do and it was a mid-air fight where DD would ahve the advantage so its not odd that Sanji had to retreat

Dwarves were underwhelming this chapter. Just.....ugh. Feels like plot-induced incompetence.
Sugar seems to be the right enemy for Usopp anyway. She can turn you into a toy by touching you and he uses ranged attacks.
I could be convinced this arc will go on for quite some time, but I can't see Luffy retreating in an orderly fashion. Last time he fled a battlefield he was unconscious and carried away.
Not very like anything we've seen so far from the strawhats to take a break and have a second go at the exact same island.

Wounded or not he still loses. Plus it's a Shounen, people getting bruised don't mean shit to weather they are any weaker.
Sanji is just a mobile in the air as DD has been shown to be(This thread has been down this road before) and it wasn't a retreat it was Law saving his ass from getting the same treatment Dressrosa got from DDs whip.
