My take is that they did a pretty good job on that. Only a a handful of people have been shown to know about the "Will of D" so far and the common folk was pretty much never shown talking about it on Luffy's wanted poster. Besides him, I think only Ace had the D on his wanted poster. We haven't seen all wanted posters though. | ||

Blackbeard didn't have a bounty before the Marinford war. We haven't seen Dragons poster at all. I have tried finding Ace's original poster, but there are hundreds of fanart posters out there. His bounty was never shown or mentioned in the manga itself, so any poster with bounty on it is a fake by default. So the normal non pirate folk only know like 2 people with D in the name. There is probably no discussion at all. | ||
