But yeah. Theories about BB having 2 fruits were discussed already. Chimera theory is boring in that it just means BB is an exception. An exception that he was born with. With no other effects than him being able to eat more than 1 fruit. Which is boring if you think about it. The more interesting theory is that everyone could have multiple DF's, but only BB knows the secret. Alternatively BB didn't know any secret and just met the criteria by pure luck(devil's luck, similar to Luffy).
I think the first theory is much better for story purpose. If the second were to come true we will have Naruto/DBZ battles where everyone just spams fruit powers which would be boring

weeeeell, i mean, a great swordsman, like zoro for example, claims he can almost "speak" to his weapons, atleast he knows how blades are feeling, he's claiming blades "cry" or that they have a mind of their own. i don't think it's impossible at all, if a great swordsman can understand his swords, why shouldn't he be able to co-exist with them and use their powers to their common advantage. swords seem to choose their owners, like demonblade seems to have done with zoro, why shouldnt they be able to choose to keep the hilt intact? or shoot fire, which might be what the wielder wants? just pooping thoughts.
|
There's dramatizing a swordsmans grasp on the intricacies of his weapons, and there is thinking that swords actually have a mind, think and have moods. I don't think Zoro's swords have gained a life of their own just because they were forged into a specific shape.

Certain objects might be possible to train without a Zoan. Zoro's cursed sword has been brought up, but the Going Merry is the best example as it seemed to care and even be able to move on it's own. Though it was more like the ship was possessed by the Klabautermann spirit, but that spirit wasn't the ship itself even though Franky described it as the ship's incarnation. At the very least the anime seems to think the spirit can reside after Going Merry's ship as it appeared on the Thousand Sunny. Zoro's cursed sword you might be able to control if it had a DF because there seems to be a spirit inside of the object, but most objects it's probably impossible to train.

I wonder if there is bullets made by kairoseki.
At least characters who possess gun would look better.

Leave Zoro's swords alone with your nasty devil fruits, kthxbai.

What if a seastone sword or the weapon that smoker had ate a devil fruit. Would the world explode?

What if Pica absorbed Seastone? Would he die?

Until we actually have a better idea of how objects gain df powers (currently illustrated with zoan abilities only), we cant really go off on a tangent in assuming it can be done with other types of df that does not give the object sentience.
Pica also wouldnt be able to 'absorb' seastone as the lore states the seastone weakens you. Hence, pica would lose control of the rocks she has assimilated just by coming into contact with it or it will affect only the portion that came in contact with the seastone. But definitely not death.
Up to now, the lore has stated only vegapunk has the means to feed the df to a weapon right? Also, the actual process of 'feeding' has not been expanded on right?

Well according to some people in this thread, if you just touch it a little bit, you can use your devil fruit on it. So he could absorb like a few pounds of it, right?

I would stand on what limited information we have.
The amount seems irrelevant as there are seastone bullets (movie) and smokers weapon which has a seastone tip.
Coming into contact with it either weakens or disables the ability on the part where it comes into contact with.
Also, we have yet to be shown any df power directly affecting seastone.
Sample is caribou's power. Has he been.shown to actually be able to hide seastone inside him? Or the one with the cut cut fruit (forgot his name). Can he cut seastone.which is (for mow) unbreakable?
I dont recall any instance yet so would help if there is supporting information to show it is actually.possible.

So are you telling me that I'm supposed to just rely on actual information from the manga, and just make baseless conjecture about devil fruit abilities and their application on seastone?

Seems Sentenal's sarcasm wasn't sarcastic enough.

Don't like either theory, both them seem pretty shoddy and breaks the story pretty hard.. i think its more likely a propriety of his darkness fruit. hes already shown evidence of being about to vacuum and expel objects out of his darkness abilities including devil fruits. i think its more likey hes got white beards fruit stored inside his darkness ability and expelling it when he needs its. its a loophole in the devil fruit system which makes perfect sense

Luffy was under water and his body still is rubber. Pica would be the same, he would remain a stone with everything he absorbed thus far, but his body should remain weaken to the point where he can't move anything.

If it's an zoan animal, then it will not be able to move by itself and just lay there like a piece of meat

Makes all the more sense that Blackbeard went for the darkness fruit specifically, and went so far as to kill a crewmate for it, because he somehow found out about this loophole.
