I actually like the pacing to be honest, but one thing I've definitely noticed is that OP's arcs have gotten longer as time goes on.

As long as new interesting facts are introduced, I'm fine with things being slow. It still feels like proper build up to me atm.

That said, I want the new chapter, and I want it now!

The pacing has definitely been a lot faster for this arc than Dressrosa - which was 100 chapters. This one is only 36 chapters long so far.

Just to give a bit of a comparison - Water 7 was ~50 chapters and Enis Lobby was ~50 chapters. So if this wraps up soon then it will be only half the length of its predecessor.

That's fair. It's also probably great for character development and insights into the actual world of OP.

I think part of what made Dressrosa feel a bit slow were some of the flashbacks. But I'll have to re-read Dressrosa before I make up my mind.

This Arc pacing has been great, lots of great characters introduced, good development and huge plot advancing factors like the poneglyphs. Zou was a smaller arc but same thing, great pace lots of story development etc.

This last chapter I think gets a decent amount of hate because it wasn't as good as the last few and its a break next week. On it's own without factoring those two points in, it is a solid chapter. But when you add how hype it's been the last few weeks and a looming break it feels really lackluster unfortunately.

Chapter was kind of boring but there are little things that still get me to love oda all over again.

The fact that he made the living door aware of the plot and made it super obvious that it would likely tell Mom and ruin everything, and then immediately bait-and-switched.

Always keeping the readers on their toes.
