He could barely keep up when Ros was in the room, when she left he did his weird squats and then right before he walked out - old man mode.

He's playing the role of the weak old man who forgets things (think The Prestige), when he's obviously somewhat in shape and has hits wits. It was also to show that he's unfaithful and breaks his vows. Also, he's the Grand Maester, not the High Septon. They are some slight differences.

Having read many "epic fantasy" book series (and many books in general), I can say with confidence that this series is a literary treasure. The stereotypes and cliches that you see in normal fantasy novels aren't present here, dialogue and human interaction both feel intimate and real. If you read at all, read this series. If you're not the reading type, I would still recommend you slog through it because you will enjoy it. EDIT: 20 minutes until I can watch the season finale. They've done so well the on-screen adaptation, I can't wait to see how they close it out!

EP10 is a little bit slow, but ending was pretty awesome. Daenerys Targaryen reminds me of infested Kerrigan for some reason, lol. Too bad we'll have to wait for a whole year to watch season 2, it better has around 20 episodes. Thankfully The Walking Dead is coming back in the fall to keep us entertained.

Her screams juxtaposed with Dany walking into the fire showed her defeat of her prior naivete. She lost three of the most important people to her throughout the course of he season, Her brother Viseries, Drogo and her son, Rhaego. She then gained the dragons to replace them, which is garnished by the conversation with the witch, where the witch explains that life is nothing but for those you love. This is shown in what she names her dragons, and I'll spoiler it, in case there are people who would be butthurt by learning it before they reveal it sometime before the next season. Names of Daenerys dragons: + Show Spoiler + Viserion, the white dragon, Rhaegal, the green one, and Drogon, the largest, black, and the supposed reincarnation of Balerion the black dread ![]() User was warned for this post
