this is getting dumb. obito could have cut kakashis leg off or sliced him into bits by now. kakashi could have raikiried obitos torso off but instead he chose to deliver a friendly jab. they have no killer intent.

Hm.. prediction time...
If sharingan could work in control any of the nine tails, it could theoretically work in also controlling in 10 tails against madara. So either Sasuke or Obito would do the task. but since we haven't seen or heard from Sasuke and Orochimaru yet, Sasuke appearing is low but possible. Author just flashback onto what his newfound knowledge would be any maybe Orochimaru would actually at the dying Kage field and help the Hokage restore the other 4 Kages to a "healthy" state.
The hokage said she would sacrifice herself to restore the other Kages but we still haven't seen or heard from her yet. Maybe the will of fire bonds will be ignited in Orochimaru upon seeing her in that state (maybe?).
I still am doubtful Obito will change his mind with his one track mind idea and with the jyuubi already present.
Anyway, that's it I guess for my guess. Will see what happens in the next few chapters. Maybe even the Anbu have a division 0 like the other manga that puts all jounin to shame. Haha!

Well, he could use some rest to get his chakra up again after freaking insta-fragging Obito from the other dimension. It's not like he will be of much use even if he comes back right away after harmlessly bitch slapping him.
