Yeah no way, he'd just flick a finger and roflstomp everyone, there's no battle or drama in that
|
Laure he's schemed with in the past... But anyone in Leesoos team should have no problems "betraying" the team because Koon is their leader anyway

I had to post this comment I saw on another site here :
"I just had a terrible premonition that Parakewl is going to become the first ranker out of all of them. His Revolution tactics will become legendary throughout the tower."
God I hope so. Parakewl is awesome.
*EDIT :
I re-read the whole thing this week. I caught a lot of things I had missed the first time that foreshadows the future. So much easier when you're reading it all in one go. For example, Urek getting the jewel, which is probably the payment for Yuri's sister to track Baam. Lero Ro, when he speaks with Koon's brother, you can already see they're going to track Baam (although you could've figured that out the first time you read it if you paid attention to all the text, as the phonecall is from the guy that was with Urek that was given the role of monitoring Baam).
At this point, I kind of hope FUG ends up winning Baam as a prize, then Baam declaring to them/everyone in the Workshop that to free himself he will completely destroy FUG until he is the last one left of the organization.
I think that would be a good motivation for him to keep climbing, and it would make for a pretty cool scenario... FUG doesn't want him to die but eventually he will be one of the most powerful beings in the tower. Lose-lose situation for them essentially IMO, even if they win him as a prize. I don't think ownership of a living ignition weapon can really force Baam to do something (think for example Black March, which ignites when it wants to a certain extent despite being a sword). That is, unless the thorn (emile?) ends up being a way to physically control Baam.
Just saying, Baam going "bitch I'm an irregular don't fuck with me" would be epic.
Of course, I don't hope for his teammates, old or new, to die but I'd take a few deaths for this scenario to happen (and it seems some people are going to die no matter what, probably Horyang and Cassano at least).
Pretty eager to read the next parts vs the Mad Dog and those 2 creepy creatures Wangnang has to fight. I'm pretty sure Koon will recruit someone very unexpected, like Rak or Androssi or something; assuming he can (it doesn't seem to indicate in the rules you can only recruit people you reached that point with, since teams were already partially split during the gun game and further during the solo matches).
The mysteries are starting to unravel but I think the author will keep it relatively basic with Beta, Emile, and Leroro + Hatsu. I don't think we will really learn much of anything about FUG or Kuraka (Karuka?) and Reflecjo/shadow demon (maybe they'll beat this guy though).
Same with the Rankers / people in charge of the Workshop. I think in the end, we will learn about the thorn/emile and obviously which path the story will take Baam. Maybe we'll also see him make contact with the Wing Tree people, since Yuri had originally invited him and Urek was interested in him, and both are tracking him right now.

very sad news, though there's probably a good reason for the delay.

From Batoto:

At least it doesn't seem to be his wrists. I know he said he will probably get surgery after season 2 is finished before continuing.
I just hope this doesn't become like Hunter x Hunter because of health reasons. Or even worse... Berserk (although I don't think this one is because of health reasons).
Hopefully he'll get better soon and the small amount of rest will help his wrist issues too.

HxH isn't for health reasons either.

There was one because of health reasons or something... think it was D Gray Man? That shit was weird anyway.

At the start it wasn't because of his health, but I read here and somewhere else Miura has had a heart attack or some sort of heart problems and he hasn't yet the green light from his doctors to write a chapter or something. News is 2~ months ago tho.

I hope SIU doesn't become like the person who wrote D.Gray Man, essentially unable to finish the story due to various health problems.
|
i thought HxH author went cray cray so mental health, i suppose?
|
Has SIU actually posted the tournament rules somewhere? From the way he talks in the afterword, it sounds like he has. I can't find 'em, though. :/

Aside from his wrist problem, I think it's just a regular sickness he has, it's still less break than any of OP/Naruto/Bleach.

Holy fuck I haven't read ToG for like a few months . The last chapter I read was the end of the gun challenge thing where Androssi and the prisoner dude are talking.
OHMYGODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDddd.
+ Show Spoiler +I can dig Androssi and Baam. Wheres the dude that was following Leroro around? I liked him. The whole prisoner complex thing with everyone looking for emile. ashjk I miss the original crew, I feel as SIU hasn't made the 2nd season crew as likable as the first.
ANDROSSI AND BAAM. OMG.
Now I have to decide whether I want to torture myself weekly, or catch up every trimester or so.
