Mismatch of random thoughts: A middling episode for this season, similar to "Family Appreciation Day" I'm not sure if it suffers or benefits more from the novelty of the story. No big complaints, the opening was cute, the way they introduced the steampunk contraption was awesome with the small glimpses of it being revealed at a time, the song was great. New antagonists are always cool. Ending was a wee bit abrupt. | ||

Applejack should have tried to get a bigger cut of money from flim flam, like 60-40 IMO. Although she could possibly just hire more labor around the farm to reap a 100% profit, paying workers salary and retirement pensions might be a little more expensive. | ||

Okayish episode. Not nearly as good as the last one but it had a few good scenes. Applebloom is so cute and there were a couple of good jokes. What I didn't like were the predictable story and the long song. | ||

That song was really long. No joke. It was a good song, but the rest of the episode felt shorter cuz of it. Flim-Flam are just hilarious. I love em. Other than, it was an okay episode. Applejack's letter in the end cracked me up. | ||
