Meh, the new ep was too predictable, I found the antagonists too obnoxious to the point that I didn't like the song all that much either so it didn't help that it was a long one. Though Doctor Whoof cameo, Big Mac saying "no deal" instead of "nnnope", AJ trolling Princess Celestia, and one certain AJ face that appeared twice reminding me of Jackleapp were nice, and the machinery reminded me of all the steampunk pony fanart. Also RD better not fly after the ending or she might get her flying license taken away. Also Twilight should've just used the same spell she did in Applebuck Season to collect all the apples at once, instead of getting FS to do that more slowly. | ||

Anyone else laugh when the Dr.'s super special talent turned out to be flipping hourglasses? I think that's an even worse on than being really good at poking stuff. Average episode, not going to complain. Best letter to celestia yet. | ||

The SSCS6K was initially producing what was presumably a perfectly serviceable product at a far greater efficiency. I thought it had more clever subversions than usual (like the Brothers' cider only turning out bad because of improper use despite setting up a "mass-produced stuff is bad" by conspicuous having no-one actually get to taste it). They'd just have a ton of apples sitting around. Unless they could make the machine go even faster and could get the barrels stocked, moved, and replaced even faster, there would be no reason for her to do that. Fully expected it to happen originally, but it makes sense that it didn't. | ||
