EG itemization is on point, tiny burst cancel by NW ulti, CW Crimson Guard + ulti makes Luna life so hard.
with silencer, CW and spectre ulti up, LGD had almost no way to win teamfight in late game.

atleast with a bkb you can counter stun and get your combo off and burst down some heroes

It somehow seems exciting to see ppd destroy eg 2 series in a row.
Technically it's MC with 4 standins.
This standin situation really makes me question Liquid core synergy. Liquid 3 cores seem too greedy. Matu does create space but his space creation is through attracting attention with cancer heroes instead of going around killing heroes like a traditional pos 2.

I wonder what MC will report back to Liquid about PPD's thoughts on the current meta. Also, along the same vein, I wonder how much PPD has learned from talking to MC about how Liquid thinks about the current meta.
If it weren't for a balance patch on the horizon, the next time Liquid and NiP meet could be interesting, might still be despite the patch.

NiP lineup is definitely better on paper late game, but it's not as ez to execute as TB.

The whole series came down to that nightmare by Fly in game 2 that allowed for the turnaround, NiP were playing really well with a good draft.

TB got picked a lot but weird thing is his counters basically doesnt get picked or even banned,even in the game he lost. nobody is picking or banning necro,zeus,tinker etc. in this series. you can even just void+aa his ass. everyone seems to forgot what to do

Really liked NiP's development this major, especially Fata's. He went from a non factor mid at Hamburg to a solid one I saw in the Main Event here.

Drow lineup win lanes, split the map open with early towers and drow aura to push lane creeps in. Allow opportunities for catch on storm and sb drow. Teamfight backed up by ES, phoenix and ET armor negating aura. Well that was the game plan with that draft. Execution is another story.
You either win TB by controlling the entire game and end it early, or pick direct counters like heavy burst stuns lineups to deal with his sunder but risk TB getting out of control early because those heroes tend to be weaker in laning.
Sunder is the main reason why TB is such a broken hero. It makes it way too easy to execute compared to other carries.
